Teresa Brown

Teresa Brown, a longtime resident of Detroit, is the mother of two sons. In 1997, her eldest son, Marteniz, was diagnosed with HIV at the age of 18 when he was routinely tested as part of his admittance to the Air Force. He credits her unwavering love and support with helping him cope with his diagnosis. As a youth specialist at a Michigan Juvenile Correctional Facility, Ms. Brown helped educate other young people about HIV/AIDS.
Scott Campbell

Scott Campbell, a California native, has been living with HIV/AIDS for more than a decade. Mr. Campbell volunteers with various AIDS service organizations to promote education and awareness. Since 2002, he has been a spokesperson for HIV Stops With Me, a public education campaign that aims to reduce the stigma associated with HIV and to acknowledge the powerful role that people who are positive have in ending the epidemic. He is also a board member of Positive Pedalers, a community of HIV-positive cyclists in California which among other activities participates in the AIDS/LifeCycle: Ride to End AIDS.
Regan Hofmann

Regan Hofmann is the Editor in Chief of the award winning, monthly publication, POZ, a magazine about living healthy with HIV/AIDS. Ms. Hofmann contracted HIV at the age of 29. After living in silence about her HIV status for nearly a decade, she made the decision in 2006 -- in conjunction with taking over the helm of POZ -- to go public with her story in the hopes of increasing HIV/AIDS awareness and helping to combat stigma.
