I'm back now - and Ihad some wine and champagne for everyone. After the party we went to a club to dance a little - between the wine/champagne and dancing - no coughing....LOL

Hello everyone. How are we all today? The parade was fun last night. Luckily it wasn't nearly as cold as was predicted so my teeth were not chattering when I got home. I got to the parade 45 minutes after it started and waited another 45 minutes before my daughters school came marching up the street (it is a very big paerade!!). Close to the end, all of a sudden, there was nothing, a big gap in participantds, so people started leaving. They assumed the parade was over. Some people around me were asking is that it? I said not until Santa comes, Santa always is the end of the parade. Then I asked a couple who were standing near me if they had been there since the beginning and they said yes. I asked if my daughters school had been through yet, they thought for a moment and said no. Then the parade is not over. Our school district always leads Santa down the route. A moment later I heard familiar screams and drum cadence and said here they come. Massive applause for our school and of course for Santa!!!
My other daughter is in a play this weekend so my husband went with her to her show last night. I am going to see it this afternoon. After the parade I came home, the site was very hinky so I watched Tor C, then read for a while and went to bed. I got to sleep until 10:00 2 daqys in a row. Doe is very happy.
Now I must do laundry, take a shower and decide what to make the troops for dinner tonight. Maybe I will take my shower before I do laundry. I prefer hot showers. Never been a fan of cold showers.
