Why are sooo many ppl complaining about Lily's make up. Do they want her to look like a bag lady? Lily was made up when she and Cane went out for the day, enjoying their new established relationship. When she got the fever, she hadn't washed her face clear of make up, so naturally she'd still have it on. Geez!! The writers love to rile up the fans and they're doing it with all the possibilities of something going wrong, either in the implantation or Lane's relationship, but they also made a point of solidifying Lane's love before all this started. Mac may get attached to the baby, but if she did, it would be natural. She may depend on Cane, if Billy is absent. It would be natural. She'll eventually revert back to the benevolent Mac.Lane is solid,and Lilywill be NO pushover when it comes to her babies or Cane. I think I'm just going to relax and wait for Baby Ashby to light up Lane's world because no matter what goes on in between, that's the ultimate goal.

You will be upset that if knew how many times that writers have modified facts to accommodate the Chloe character. The biggest joke is that the writers are claiming that Chloe only trapped Cane because Billy would not “step up.”This is so funny because any viewer that does not have memory loss knows that Chloe was on Cane like a hound dog when she first came to town.

Listen. I want to share what some friends, who are avid watchers of Y&R and have been for years, had to say about this current surrogate storyline. They are NOT participants on any boards and many of them are about to stop watching the show all together because they seem to think that this whole surrogate storyline is racially motivated. They think the TPTB are afraid of offending some people by having a woman of color carry a white man's baby. They want to appease the Lane fans by giving them a much anticipated baby, but do it by circumventing, doing it in around of about way to appease everybody. They think that the OC storyline was a crock and a means to an end. They don't think it's about Cane and Mac getting together or bonding. I don't necessarily agree with them and I've made my point very clear to them, but they did make some legitimate points. Why couldn't Roxy be the surrogate? They said that once again it would still be a woman of color carrying a white man's baby. Sooo, Mac to the rescue, "The Great White Hope". I don't agree with them, but I'll just waitfor theoutcome. I sure would hate for them to throw it in my face later. I say if that's the way Y&R is thinking, then that would be an insult, and I don't think they would want alienate or insult their AA audience in such a way, but there are MANY who are thinking that way. Y&R needs to know that there are many out there watching, who don't make their voices heard, but they are watching. Y&R had better make sure that their opinions don't become a reality. I still think this surrogate storyline with Mac is about continuing the rivalry between Cane and Billy. I would like to see them go at it again.

I think that they want to keep therivalry going between Cane and Billy because Cane is the only one to give as good as he gets where Billy is concerned. By Mac carrying Cane and Lily's baby that would do it because you gotta know that Billy will be beside himself. He may read all kinds of things into it, but it will be his problem. I think DG only talked about the ethnic make up of Lily because fans are always saying how pretty a mixed baby between Cane and Lily would be.He himself said the child would be very pretty. She's friends with both Lily and Cane. And besides, there are no vibes between Cane and Mac, other than friends.She's the one who has been in their corner all along. Usually when there's going to be some hook-up, one picks up on certain vibes or looks. There's nothing there between them. Besides, she may turn out to be his cousin if Cane's biological mother or father is Kay's child, which I'm hoping because they hit it off as friends from the beginning. I hope Jill's business with Paul is to find Cane's parents. I will admit that I was upset with Lily's sterilization, but I'm going to have to deal with it because there's no miracle baby coming. I had hoped they would find a way for a mistake. If I detect a hidden agenda by MAB to get Cane and Mac together, I'm outta here because they will have jerked us around again. But, I think she has learned her lesson with that babygate mess. It didn't work. Cane and Chloe didn't make a dent, and Cane and Mac won't either. She can't even make a dent with Billy. They have to give her something to do. Why not let her become an incubator since Colleen is no longer available? I originally didn't want it to be Mac, but I get the impression that she would do right by them. Cane knows what he almost lost with Lily. He wouldn't want to mess that up again because he could kiss that goodbye for good. Lily and Mac are almost alike. They are the only good girls with a conscience on the show right now. I think Mac is supposed to be Lily's next bff. I could see it coming.
”Since the writers flucked up Cane and Lily's lives royally, they are writing all kinds of crap to get them back together. First, they broke up Roxy and Devon so that Devon could relate to Cane and not be too judgmental.Lily's next crisis is to get Neil back on board. They want everything back full circle before the next big storyline for Lane. Now, I'm wondering, like others, if Lily's cancer story was to bring Cane and Lily back together after they stripped Cane of his title as a Chancellor because it had to be something major to get them back together. They even had Lily saying that the cancer was a gift for crying out loud. When I heard that, I said WTF!!. These writers have not imagination. They could have gotten them back together without the cancer story. All they had to do was find a way for Cane and Lily to end up deserted somewhere together alone for weeks, where they had to depend solely on each other. They could have worked everything out , emotionally and physically, without outside interferences. When they returned to the real world, they would have been joined at the hips., Neil and Devon be damned. Case closed.End of story. That way, Lily could have had her own baby. I've said from the beginning that Mac would probably be the surrogate. Today's epi came out of nowhere with Mrs. C. and Mac talking about babies. They have never talked about babies before. And, all of a sudden, you have Mac becoming Cane and Lily's bff. What's up with that? Cane and Lily have told her things that they don't share with each other. The writers are so predictable. There's madness to their methods. I don't trust them to let Lane have a baby without some kind of drama.

I hope they tuned in the next day to see that he actually was crying. Even if he covered his face, there's no way that he could have produced those gut-wrenching sobs if he weren't crying for real. Some things you can't fake. If he had shown his face, they would have found something else to criticize. So, they can take a flying leap. Men on a whole tend to cover their faces because it is so unusual for many of them to cry. Subconsciously, they think men shouldn't cry.
