Can an episode be both fantastic and disappointing? It was great to see Winnie again and she is even better this season than last. Tattiawna is so real and believable in her bodylanguage and her off the cuff style comments. She brings such realism to the character. Greg was not wrong when in season two he called her, Wonderful Winnie" I echo his sentiment. Thanks to the director and editors for giving Winnie so much face time. In future we hope to see Winnie interacting with the rest of the team at days end. Wow!!! What did they do to our Lue? That was so disappointing and shocking. Lue and Spike are the dynamic duo. That was very emotional and Spike's performance and reacation were incredible. Thanks to everyone concerned for a great opener. Can't wait til next week to see how the team deals with the fallout.
”Hey Guys
I've seen Winnie a couple of times in promos on TSNthis week. Yeah Winnie. The powers that be are starting to sense Winnie's drawing power. Hoprfully they use her more in the up coming season.
”Does anyone know why Winnie was not in Exit Wounds? The show's not the same without her.
”The show is fantastic. I can't believe anyone would consider cancelling a show that is loved by so many and is so well cast, acted, directed, lit...
”Last Dance was a great episode.
Someone must be crazy to consider putting this show on the block. I thought it was doing a great job in it's time slot.
”"Last Dance" was a much better episode for Winnie fans than last weeks episode. In the first 20 minutes Winnie was used as an integral part if the team. The communication with Winnie really addds depth to the show. However, there were some places in the latter 40 minutes of the show where Spike and Jules seemed to do what would come under Winnie's domain.
Seeing Winnie interact with the team as she did in the beginning of this episode helped to make the camaraderie of the force more believable. If you rarely see Winnie with the other characters, their relationship (even a working one) seems more contrived.
Thanks to the staff for recognizing Winnie's place on the team.
”We agree. While watching the show we were all saying, "Hey isn't that Winnie's job?" We are also big fans of Winnie and agree with your sentiment. We missed her and as such, the show left us wanting. Winnie adds another dimension that helps to make the show great. Lets hope next week rectifies this oversight.
”What did they do to Whinney's curls? In episode two, "Fortress,"Winnie looked incredible with a full head of curly locks. In episodes four, "Aisle,"Winnie's hairhad been straight. I much prefer the curls. Her hair was shiny and looked awesome with the curls. Bring back the curls. We want the curls.
”
We are very disappointed that Winnie is not being used very much inseason 3. The show is definitely more unidimentional when Winnie is not involved. Even the grandest house needs a strong foundation. A significant part of that foundation is Winnie, who holds down the fort while the crew is on manouvers.
