”Yesterday morning I sent out a joking e-mail with my list of possible reasons Flight 188 overshot the airport. Three of my reasons were:
1) Co-pilot thought he spotted "balloon boy"
2) In-flight movie was running long
3) Wanted to steal the spotlight from that camera hog Sullenberger
I was pretty pleased with my list, so I added a few more and published it as a Sidewiki entry attached to some news stories about the Northwest flight, including this one:
