CBS.com: Congratulations on your nomination.
JENNIFER LANDON: Thank you very much.
CBS.com: Where were you when you found out?
JENNIFER LANDON: I was home. I was in my apartment and we all watched it on The View. I had my friend Nicole with me. I didn’t even know if I got The View. I don’t watch TV. I didn’t even know if my TV worked. I turned it on, and I was like, what channel [is it on]?
CBS.com: Who is the first person you called?
JENNIFER LANDON: I called my mom and then I called two people I will call advisers of sorts. I called my high school acting teacher.
CBS.com: What are some of the reactions you’ve been getting from co-stars?
JENNIFER LANDON: I’ve been running around today doing interview after interview. I haven’t talked to [a lot of people]. I’m not at work today. I was so excited for the people who were nominated so I called them right away, as I was watching it.
CBS.com: Did you speak to Jesse [Soffer, Will]?
JENNIFER LANDON: Yeah. I called him before and said, “Are you going to watch it?” And he said, “Yeah.” We watched it and we were really excited.
CBS.com: It must be great that you’re both nominated.
JENNIFER LANDON: It’s so awesome. I can’t say anything more than that it’s just amazing.
CBS.com: Have you given any thought to what you’ll put on your Emmy reel?
JENNIFER LANDON: I’ll submit the [episode] that I submitted [for the pre-nominations], which was I come back from a [night] away and I’ve left what I think is my baby with [Carly and return to discover] not only is he not mine and he’s gone, but the baby I gave birth to died. I might do something else from that week, but I’m not sure.
CBS.com: Did you go to the Emmys last year?
JENNIFER LANDON: I did. I went last year and it was really great. I was like, “Whoa!” I had been on the show for like two weeks or something. It was really neat. I was really excited for the people who were nominated, and this year we have so many! So, I’m so excited!
CBS.com: Have you thought at all about what you’ll wear on Emmy night?
JENNIFER LANDON: No, my mom has this image of this blue dress, so I’m not sure. I always go back and forth between suit or dress. I wore a suit last year so I don’t really want to do that again. But they’re just so wonderful. So, I’m not sure.
CBS.com: Do you have a good luck charm or something you’ll bring with you on Emmy night?
JENNIFER LANDON: I’ve been trying to create good luck charms. I think my little brother’s going to be there; he’s a charm of sorts. So, he might be my charm. People tend to be my charms. I might bring a picture, a little picture of someone.
