I'm not sure about that. I do know that I wish Malinda would wake up and find it was all a dream and we could go back to the old series. Lots of people have stopped watching because if tis new idea. Get Real..................Bev Beaman

Tell you what. I loved this show, and now every week it becomes more and more predictable...a kid, the new level of sappy drama(read SOAP OPERA here!)...it all seemed to start with the husband deal...it was down hill from there. LOSE the over-acting, THE FALSE EYELASHES-YUCK!!!Get back to the roots, writers, or this show will die...whatever you're trying to do right now isn't working, and you're going to lose your long time fans!!Please listen!!!

I just hope there isn't any more heartache for Malinda. Losing Jim last season was bad enough. I have to agree, tho, with other people, that they need to go back to the way things were before Jim died. I guess I'm holding out this season, but I think the writers blew it when they killed off Jim. I understand why people stopped watching.

I love the part of Melinda and Joe. But I have to admit that I agree with a lot of the fans when they say that we hope that she is having a bad dream and you will take her back to when you killed off Joe because its really laim to use the same actor playing another person being Joe. Bring back the original Joe having another chance at life, and learning to be a Doctor and a new father.
Also you really missed the boat when it came to the new son "bad acting". "BAD idea" of bringing him in at 5 years of age.... you missed out on the nurturing scenes that Melinda could have had with the new baby and its undiscovered powers.Like Samantha had with Tabitha on Bewitched.
As for the Book I hope it will be that she see's what is there and has the stength to either except what she can not change or has the knowledge to change what she can, But remember to change the future, changes the time line of life for not just one life but thousands of lives now and into the future.
I hope I will be watching Ghost Whisper for meny more seasons.

Isn't it amazing how well she was able to utilize her gift before the Book of changes? I think some of you are right. Roll back a little to more of the earlier type of story line. I know JLH loves Jaime Kennedy, but he really cannot act and can only provide comic relief so put the meat and potatoes back where it belongs between Jim and Melinda and also Delia (Camryn can act). They had a really nice storyline in the very beginning that was believable and could have gone on forever. Some of you are too young to remember Bewitched when it FIRST came on the air. It was magical but subtle and had a huge audience. But as the years went by they kept juicing it up to the point of being too hard to believe and down right annoying. People stopped watching. EJ

I don't understand why the kid even plays on the show? He is hardly seen. There was one episode where Malinda's child had about a 3 minute part sitting in a chair and never seen again. Next later on in the show Mel is picking up all these toys...like it never showed the boy playing with the toys at all. It seems as though when the three of them are together, the kid isn't theres, it is like they are taking care of someone elses child. I wish they stayed with the old show. I don't like the new one at all.

Since the traumatic change in this show where it has been sped up five years ahead and Mel has a family, hopefully this Halloween night's show, Mel will wake up in the underworld where she fines her way back home "to the real Jim," and it will return to the way the show was from the start. However still keep the same cast, except the kid and bring back Jay Mohr.

That is a wonderful idea. She definitely needs to wake up from this lousy dream. It doesn't seem as though the Melinda and Jim characters are as well connected anymore. I have wondered if there isn't some conflict between JLH and DC. They don't have the same touchy feely chemistry going. He is less involved in the stories, more like window dressing around the house. She is exec. prod;ucer and may abe edging him to the fringe and moving the Eli character more into the middle of things. When she is a guest on talk shows all she talks about is Jaime Kennedy and barely mentions other cast members. I think if they lose David Conrad they will lose a big chunk of the quality in the story.

On tonights episode, involving the "HEADLESSHORSEMEN," that is old news. Hasn't this show mentioned this before? I agree with a comment on here, the romance just doesn't seem to be there between Jim and Mel. The child doesn't seem like theres either it is more like they are taking care of him. You don't see them eating together at a table or doing family things, it either pertains to Ayden appearing in the scenes when he senses a ghost around. Again she is picking up toys and you never see him even playing with them! Has the boy ever been in his mother's shop? They don't circulate enough extras in the show like Jim is at the hospital but the only patients he seems to have is surround by Melinda's ghost. It is almost like he is right there for when Mel goes into the hospital for a question to ask Jim, my god the man is accessable. When is a Doctor assable? You either have to page them or wait. Didn't like the story line tonight, it was old school seen it before many times with The Headless Horsemen. The script was simple and not challenging, espcially for a Halloween episode. Melinda please wake up from a state of unconciousness and bring back the old show. Yes you can keep Eli, because Jay has his own show however please wake up!

It was not an enchanting episode. You are so right. They do not come across as a family and you would think that Jim and Melinda are 2 good friends raising someone's child together. She is slow to tell Jim things and confides more in Eli apparently. They have lost the realism that used to be Jim and Mel. It is very mechanical now, but not because David Conrad doesn't put himself into it. There was more story and connectedness when it was Jim, Mel, Andrea, and Prof. Payne. Now it seems all staged around an agenda to tell the story of the Book Of Changes. But it is losing the substance of the main characters that were the appeal to begin with.

In my area, there isn't much on Friday Nights, so I thought to myself what would happen if GW was on a night CSI or other shows were airing. GW wouldn't even be on if it wasn't for FRIDAYnights. I think they should make Eli and Mel the pair because Jim and Mel don't have that majic between them anymore. The show last night look just like a slap stick or make-shift show to throw up there.

I guess I will have to see how everything goes. I think if they did away with Jim the show would go away due to loss of viewers. A show can't be based on one theme alone and keep longevity. It is the whole mix of things that goes into a show that gives it life. So just the theme of hearing and talking to ghosts isn't enough. And there is no on camera chemistry between Melinda and Eli. Nope. They set the stage with Jim and Melinda and they are going to screw themselves if they don'tfix that situation. I think there is a personal reason between the actors as to why things seem to have cooled off on screen and i bet that something is JLH's relationship with JK. They need to put that aside and take care of the story.
