wyoseeker wrote: Well, C'kins ,I admire how you discuss and debate here. And let me be the one to congratulate you for being right and to admit that I was wrong as far as which II that Bob was promising to Kenny. I just couldn't believe that Bob would do that! However, how smart he was to renegotiate with Kenny to say that he'd give it to him only if he thought Kenny needed it. I think from reading your other posts that you're a Kenny fan, so please don't take offense. I'm not really siding with Bob against Kenny here, only wincing that Bob would promise giving his II to anyone , and pleased that he found a way to honorably get out of that promise. For now anyway -- it will remain to be seen if Bob wins the II again, if he will feel obliged to give it to Kenny at either of the next tribal councils. Will be very interesting...On another subject, from Phils last post: good call on who would be voted out tonight! (edited to try to get everything others said in the blue box, and my response back out of the box, arggh!) Hi wyo,All in fun, right? You can buy the next 'Round'.., k.? *wink*From the editing - and Lord knows it's played its' games with me over the years..! - When I saw Ken approaching Bob right after TC that night, I saw an upset Ken, approaching Bob, and that's because in my eyes, Ken knew at that point it was all a hoax. - The whole Fake HII deal. The jig was up, Corinne hadn't played it, and I couldn't see Ken falling for any more Fake Idol plays/promises. So in fairness, Bob was just doing what he needed to do at the time - and something we've seen before, I believe: - you're negotiating for your life with one of the power players right after TC, - so you're pretty vulnerable, I'm thinking. And Bob's a pretty fair and honest man. He used the only thing he could at the time, his word/bond - which he kept, ingeniously -and look - they're BOTH still there. Hey, I don't take offense against anyone discussing my faves, con OR pro. The key is, of course, to keep it all in fun, and in the context of the game. I know so-and-so may not like my Ken, and I may not like their "Sugar" or Corinne - waitaminute - bad example, lol. - But let's keep doing it, hopefully until Season 500! Course, both of us being products of the 60's, we'll be yelling at/with Jeff's grandchild by then, maybe? lol(Sorry if this is hard to read, I'm currently having wonderful font/size problems here..need someone to peek at my 'puter).C'kins

You know the drill, I'm still pressing on. Survivor: Gabon-Earth's Last Eden - Episode Ten Commentary - 11.20.08 It's funny how the tides can turn so quickly in this game. In the tribal portion of the game, Fang was being beaten to a pulp in challenges and looked like they didn't have a prayer. But now in the individual portion of the game so far, they've been picking off Kota members one by one as Ken & Crystal lead the force. It's the hot seat for Bob, Corinne, and Randy and they need to act fast if they want to stay in this. Sugar and Bob meanwhile talk about sending Randy home next; and that Bob couldn't find the idol on Exile Island. Of course we know Sugar has it, but Bob doesn't know that yet. He does let her know of the fake idol he made, and it would be interesting to see it come into play and dupe someone. With their chances not very high right now; Randy and Corinne try to rope Matty into their plan. We'll see if they become successful. After getting Tree Mail where each person gets a pouch full of $500, that can only mean one thing. Of course! The tribe gathers for the Reward Challenge, where the old favorite Survivor Auction returns. People really cashed in on some great food items, but Ken also got to send Bob to Exile Island and getting his $500 to boot. But now at the end comes one of the dumbest points I've made someone made. Randy got the plate of chocolate chip cookies to share with everyone else. Sugar first refused a cookie, then at the end takes Randy's cookie and gives it to Matty. I mean, I can understand him being somewhat peeved; but outright angry over a measly cookie? Sugar was right in saying Randy was just being a big baby over this. It was so ridiculous to see him this angry over a darn cookie.Randy's stupid tantrum continues when they get back to camp, snapping at people and just being a big baby over this. But now he's also beginning to play these manipulating mind games towards Matty and hopefully he doesn't fall for Randy's tricks. I've had enough of Randy and his grouchy personality; he's an immature, selfish idiot who only cares about himself. He's someone I would always stay far away from and I hope he gets voted out as soon as possible. Bob meanwhile knowing he can't find the idol enjoys some relaxing time on Exile Island, before going back to the madness of the game. The fivesome alliance lay out the pecking order (Bob, Randy, then Corinne) and Randy then shows up still being a pain in the butt. But now comes what will begin the icing on the cake for me. In their so-called "brilliant plan" called "Operation Strong Arm", Randy will act like a total jerk to get people to vote for him. Then get the "idol" from Bob to save himself so one of the fivesome will be sent home instead. I can all ready tell this will be absolute gold if this "plan" goes through, Randy will be out and will look like an idiot doing it. The tribe and Bob gather for the Immunity Challenge, where it's an obstacle course ending with a Survivor-style game of dominos. As it's divided into rounds; at the final round it comes down to Corinne, Matty, and Ken. In the tedious game of dominos, Ken scores the winning fall and wins Immunity.Back at camp; Randy tries to get his "plan" into motion and now goes to get the "idol" from Bob. Sugar, knowing of the "plan" convinces Bob to give the fake idol to Randy so they can get him out. Bob does eventually let Randy have the "idol" and he's completely falling for it! I can agree with the others, that this Tribal Council will be pure gold and pure justice to see that jerk finally out. At Tribal Council; Randy continues his childish tantrum about the cookie incident and he's just being a bully now to most of the tribe. At this point; I've seriously had my limit with this guy and I'll be so happy to see him get voted out. Now to the important moment. After the votes have been cast; Randy plays Bob's fake idol and is completely duped to find out it is not a real Hidden Immunity Idol. Though even though I was loving every second of this, I don't think Sugar should of burst out laughing, because this has just shed bad light onto her. So now with his plan backfired; Randy becomes the eleventh person voted out of the tribe and the third member of the jury in a 5-3 vote. Good riddance, honestly. I'm so glad to see him finally booted out, so I don't have to hear his negative energy (at least until the finale). Who will be voted out next? We'll find out soon; see you next week, and Happy Thanksgiving !
