i hope the writers fix this mess. cane & lily deserves more than they are getting from these idiots of writers. as usually lily is a poster child for pain. and im getting sick and tired of this roller coaster ride. maybe this is a cue for me to stop watching.

MAN IN THE MIRROR

Cane walked to the fridge and took out a cold brew. He pop the top and put the bottle on his forehead as he walked over to the tangerine couch to sit. Lilly and Neal had just left him and his head was on fire and his heart felt like it was broke in a million pieces. He put the beer on the table and grabbed his chest as he felt a sharp pain. He fell backwards on the couch and he saw himself in Australia at the bar with P3. He saw a laptop in his hand with the inquiry on the internet that Amber had placed. Recognizing it was from Genoa City that’s when he and Langley decided that maybe they could help each other out.

Langley was shocked that there was still interest in finding him for he had thought that everyone believed him to be dead. So why were they seeking Cane’s mum out.

Cane was ecstatic for now he would have a chance to go to the states and make his fortune. He had no idea why Langley would leave his but was thankful that he was going to share his life with him. He’d finally have a real family - mother, grandmother and a home.

His mind flashed forward remembering how gullible he had been with Amber. How naive he was to think that she wanted him, not Langley’s money. The sex was incredible with her though but he could get that any time in Australia so he had to cut her loose.

Beautiful wonderful Lilly, He couldn’t believe he’d fall in love with a kaffir. How would he ever be able to get Lilly to understand that he had never lied to her. He never told anyone that he was P3, Amber, Jill and Katherine did. He’d always used his real name Ethan Ashby or nickname Cane. Every thing had been wonderful until that damn Chloe decided she wanted me. I should have nipped that crap in the beginning. The gods sure had fun laughing at me when I switched P3's blood for the cheek swab. I knew that I didn’t have sex with that slut for she was still on me when I woke up and there wasn’t a drop of semen on my underwear, hers, or the car. I sure as hell didn’t have a condom and she didn’t either. I should have gone by my gut feeling instead of thinking that using P3's blood would exonerate me of everything ‘cause ain’t no way he slept with her.. Damned if she hadn’t had sex with Billy, P3's half brother. Lilly and Billy mucked that up for me. Lilly insisting that we get the darn DNA before the baby was born and then insisting that I marry the skank. Stupid me for loving Lilly so much I’d do anything she asked me. Hell I’d go to the moon if she told me to. Anyway I digress. I should have called Billy out as soon as I met him for I knew he had to be the father, not P3. True, P3 had a kid in the states, but he was definitely the gayblade in Australia.

I was going to tell Lilly what I thought to be true about the baby’s paternity when I went up to the cabin to stop her and Billy, but once again the gods tricked me and had that beautiful baby girl born. When I held her in my arms and smelled the newness of a baby I couldn’t give her up. I knew she wasn’t physically mine but I had made her mentally mine while living with that skank Foolish me for thinking that. Delia would make up for the baby Lilly and I lost. We’d be a family. I thought that was what Lilly wanted to be a family. It was so hard to give Delia up but that’s what Lilly wanted me to do, so I did.

Lilly says that she wants nothing to do with me. That I’ve lied to her for years. I don’t understand how she could form her lips to say that. I love Lilly and I never lied to her. Not telling her everything isn’t lying. All she had to do was ask me and I’d tell her. She asked about my childhood and I told her it was hell. I told her I was parentless. I told Lilly I loved her and only her. We’re supposed to be together through cheers and tears. Lilly I don’t want to live without you. Just then Cane felt lips on his and someone holding his chin and breathing into his mouth. Then he felt a jolt to his heart and could barely hear voices in the distance. Then the one voice he thought he’d never hear again.

"Cane baby, please wake up sweetie. It’s not time for you to go. I forgive you. Please come back to me Cane." Lilly began sniffling and tears rolled down her cheeks and on Cane’s chest. She put her hands together and said "Thank you God." for the monitor showed Cane’s heart beating again. She had no idea how long he had been out on the couch but was glad that her 911 had been answered so quickly. They put Cane’s body on the Gurney and Lilly had them stop so she could kiss Cane. That kiss woke Cane up and he smiled.

"I love you Lilly Ashby, through tears and cheers."

Four hours later Cane woke up and his vision was hazy as was his mind. Had he been dreaming Lilly forgave him. He felt someone's head on his leg. He lifted his body up and saw that Lilly had fell asleep across his legs. She was even more beautiful when she slept. He smiled when he heard her snore. He had meant to tape her for she hadn't believed him when he told her. He took his right hand and caressed her hair causing Lilly to wake up. She lift her head up and gazed in his direction. "Hey you!"

"Hey yourself Mr. Ashby." and Lilly lift her body off of Cane and was about to move to the chair when his arms came out grabbing her and pulling her to his chest.

"Where do you think you're going Mrs. Ashby. I'm not about to let you leave me again."

Lilly smiled at Cane and lift her chin up so that he would have easier access to her mouth. She closed her eyes as he started leaning towards her and anxiously awaited the sweetness of his lips. Cane didn't make her wait long. His lips found hers and then he sucked her bottom lip and nibbled at the side of her lips. Breathing in her scent he went to her mouth again and pried her lips apart allowing his tongue entry. He roamed in her mouth capturing her tongue between his teeth and suckling on it. Lilly's body went limp and Cane pulled her into the bed with him. He had to get her as close to him as possible. He was like a man in the outback whohad been without water and now he had found the spring to bring him back to life.

The monitor at the nurses station had been buzzing nosily from Cane's room. The nurse left to investigate and was mortified when she saw Lilly in Cane's bed and his hand actively attempting to get into her pants. She coughed to get their attention but to no avail. Finally at the bed she pulled Cane's hand away and pushed Lilly to get off the bed. "What are you two doing? You just experienced a heart attack sir and are about to have another one from the sound of the monitor. Young lady why would you endanger his life like that.. You have to leave now."

"No" yelled Cane and his monitor started beeping loudly. "I can't lose her again. Lilly stay."

"Okay, calm down sir. Your hurting yourself. Miss you may stay but please don't get on his bed or engage in sexual activities. After all an orgasm is the little death but in his case it could be the real death."

"We understand mam and I'll make sure Cane behaves." Cane gave her his little boy caught in the cookie jar look and Lilly shook her head as the nurse left. Once he couldn't see the nurse Cane went to grab Lilly but she anticipated his move and sat in the chair scooting it away from the bed. "I swear Cane sometimes you are just like a child. The nurse just told you to desist for your health but you just have to have your way. Now you behave or I will Leave." Just then Colleen walked in.

One month later Cane walked out of the doctor's office with a smile on his face. He had just been given the green light to make love to his wife. He had called ahead with Gina and only had to pick up their meal and then set up the atmosphere at their house before Lilly came home from the GCAC gym. That was the best thing they had done. He sold Jimmy's to Mac and bought GCAC gym. Lilly had been overseeing it until he got the okay to go back to work. Finally home he set the table up for dinner, placed the foods in warmer containers, wine in the cooler by the table and then he ran to take a shower before the love of his life got home.

Lilly came into the house and dropped her bag down. She saw the table set up for dinner and went to the counter and lift the lids to see what they were having when she heard what sound like the shower. Great! She hadn't taken a shower since her workout so she'd just join her hubby. She had called the doctor to find out if Cane could have sex 'cause she was afraid he'd lie and hurt himself. Well he was definitely going to hurt himself today with her. She ran back to the door and locked it, had the phone go to answering machine, took Cane's cell off the table and put it on vi****te and then headed towards the bathroom taking off her blouse first followed by **** and the rest of her clothes. She dropped them in the hamper and smiled as she saw Cane's beautiful body through the glass blocks. His back was to her so she ease into the shower and grabbed him around the waist and let her right hand slide downward to see if he was at attention. Cane turned around and wrapped his arms around her.

"You're spoiling my surprize Mrs Ashby. Whoa!" for Lilly's hand had enclosed around his member and was massaging it causing it to enlarge. "Baby, we're not suppose to do this yet I planned on dinner first and then I was going to seduce you for my dessert. OOOH yes, you're right let's have dessert first." The shower steamed up from all the heat the two made and then completely drained from their enjoyment they let the water beat on them until their heartbeats went back to a normal cadence. Cane turned off the faucet and wrapped Lilly and himself in towels and carried her to the table so they could replenish their strength for the dessert later on.

Isincerely hope that they get back on track. Lilly needs to try and work through her own problems without letting Neil interfere. It's time she grow up and work her own problems out.

MAN IN THE MIRROR

The alarm went off and Lilly reached out to hit the snooze button and refused to wake up. She had just gotten to sleep after all the physical exertion she had with Cane.

Cane’s hand went to his eyes and he swiped them to wake himself up. His body was so alive and he felt like he had died and gone to heaven. He had made love to Lilly as if it was the last time and she had come for him 5 times. Poor baby was probably too tired to go to the club so he’d better get his **** to moving. Quietly sliding out the bed not to wake her he silently walked to the alarm and turned it off completely. He then went into the restroom to do his morning rituals - urinate, teeth, gargle, floss, shower, and last but not least shave. Coming out of the dressing room he peaked once more at Lilly sleep, kissed her on the forehead and went to the kitchen for a cup of coffee. He wrote Lilly a note telling her to take the day off and he’d be home for lunch.

Cane went into the GCAC gym and turned the lights on and commenced to check the equipment to make sure it was in operable condition. Having done that he went back to his office and took out the 4 resumes the GC school counselor Liz had sent over to act as trainers for the summer. He recognized 2 of the names - Noah Newman and Abby Carlton. Well that sure made his job easier. He had wanted Lilly to hire the kids ‘cause she was so much better at talking with them than he was. No sooner had that fault crossed his mind then Lilly came through the door with her coffee mug at her lips and her back pack over her shoulder.

"Baby, why did you cut the alarm off. I was just going to get 15 minutes more sleep. Which I did. I heard you piddling around in the kitchen. Thanks for the coffee. So have the students gotten here yet?"

"No, Lily. You should have stayed home and rest your body. I mean we really had a workout last night."

"If anybody needs to rest there body it’s you. I didn’t have a heart attack like 30ish male I know."

"Now Lily, didn’t you know that exercise is good for the heart." and Cane bent down and started sucking on her lips when he heard someone say "Excuse me" Embarrassed Lilly broke the kiss and turned around to see who it was. A smile broke out on her face when she saw it was twins Kim and Jim, Roxanne’s sister and brother.

"Hi Kimmy and Jimmy! Roxanne said you guys were coming in today. This is Mr. Ashby, my husband. Cane, this is Roxanne’s little sister and brother . I"m so glad yall decided to work here this summer instead of at the recreation center. That makes two less people we have to train since you guys have experience as personal trainers. I need you to fill these papers out, so have a seat and we’ll go over everything when the other 2 youngsters get here."

Kim beckoned for Lilly to come to her. She whispered in Lilly’s ear "Roxie said your hubby was hot but he’s smoking Lilly." Lilly just smiled and had to keep herself from laughing.

"I think he’s smoking to Kim. Thanks"

"What are you thanking her for Lilly. We haven’t done any work yet?" said Jim

"That’s Aunt Lilly to you Jim and the convo was between Kim and me." Jim just walked away and shook his head. He didn’t want to work in this high falutin club but he had to admit he’d make more money here than he would have at the recreational center. He wouldn’t be getting any play this summer ‘cause he was sure no blacks attended this place. He looked up when he saw a female with long blonde hair and the bluest eyes come in. She looked like those models he saw in magazines. She had kissable lips and he licked his tongue over his bottom lip.

Abby felt someone’s eyes on her and she searched the room until she saw a boy with caf é au lait skin and the deepest brown piercing eyes looking at her. He took her breath away. His hair was in braids and the tee shirt he wore didn’t hide his marvelous abs at all. Her mouth started watering when she looked down and saw he had the most beautiful big legs and looking at his feet she figured he must wear a size 10 and she began smiling more. She felt as though a magnet was drawing her to him and it was only when she heard Lilly’s voice behind her that she broke her stare. "Hello Mrs Ashby, it’s nice to see you again. My counselor Mrs. Lee said she sent my resume to you for employment."

Just then Noah came through the door "Mrs. Lee also sent my resume. It’s been awhile Lilly and I look forward to working for you and Cane."

"Hi Noah! I was a little surprised when I saw your name. I know your dad or stepmom would want you to work for them. Hey even your grandad. Are you sure you want to work in a gym?"

"Hell yeah! I need my space from family Lilly and you always treated me nice whenever our families were together. I like to exercise and the idea of helping other people get into shape works for me. Please don’t hold it against me ‘cause I work for my family. Hell, Abby can work for family too. She’s got the Abbots and Newmans."

Hearing her name Abby frowned. "Why are you always in my business Noah but get upset when I get in yours. You just worry about yourself. Okay." Then Abby turned her head to see if Jim was listening. He was and he was shaking his head as in disgust. Darn Noah.

After having all the students fill out their forms, Lilly then took them around the gym explaining the various equipment, how to use it, the steam room, showers/lockers, the aerobics room and employees lunch/restroom. She then left them in Cane’s care to explain the duties of a personal trainer.

"I hope I remember all this" Abby said to Noah. "I had no idea that exercise required so much detail. I mean all I do is put the DVD in the player and follow the instructor."

Jim smirked. It figured she was a little princess. Abby heard him though and left Noah walking to Jim and poked him in the shoulder "I don’t remember saying anything for that kind of behavior from you. In the future keep your thoughts to yourself." Jim grabbed her hand and held it. He then looked into her eyes and made a smirking sound again. He dropped her hand and walked away. She started to go after him but her arm still tingled from where he had grabbed her. How was she going to be able to get him to like her. Then it dawned on her, become friends with his sister and he’d have no choice. So Abby walked over to Kim and began a conversation.

30 minutes later Jim looked over at the table and shook his head. It seemed like his sister and Abby were long lost friends. She’d probably walk right past them on the street like she didn’t know them. Well Kim would have to learn the hard way, like he had.

I personally wouldn't have given the rings back hastily. I would have been disappointed but I'd at least give him the benefit of the doubt. The love they have portrait in the last 2 years doesn't scream quit! The writers suck!!!!

I don't like to see Lily always ending up with a broken heart.

the way these writers(if you can called them that) lily will not have a heart anymore, she will become a bitter, cold, liar and a schemer. maybe this is what they want for her. all i know is that im tired of this hurt for her. this is probably my time to say goodbye.

I really enjoy Y&R and its all I will have left once GL is off. I wish the writers would take another look at what they are doing to Lily. Don't give up on the show unless you really hate it.

hmmm what do u mean exactly ?

All I mean is I wouldn't stop watching the show because of one bad storyline. I think Y&R is a great show. I do think they have put Lily through enough already, she has had more than her share of problems and heartache.
