well a byte is only used to measure data storage (in either ram or on a hard drive or similar thing) 500 million kilobytes is 500 gigabytes which is way too much for ram and I've never seen a storage device that big except hard drives... which I just got my new 500 gig in the mail...

500 million kilobytes

I mentioned it as the reason why all my stuff was backed up on my friends computer and I couldn't make new Avies and in one other spot as an aside...

I got a new computer so I can upgrade my internet connection, but I'm not liking it because I can't seem to find a USB port anywhere to plug my printer into. *wah* Who makes a computer without a USB port these days? *confused*

I bet you've got one somewhere, where did you buy your computer?

You most definitely have one...they're important, I have three on my laptop.
