Chapter 41 Jake's reason to live ( we go back to before jake got in the car accident but after he takes the girls to school) ( jake is listening to music and he stops at a red light and when the light turns green he goes and someone hits him from the left side the other driver drives off and doesn't even turn around to make sure jake is all right he just keeps going kayla saw what happened and ran over to jake )K: jake jake! J: kayla? K: someone call an ambulance! ( then alexx while on her way to the lab see's what's going on alexx calls for the ambulance )A: jake honey what hurts J: my stomach my chest my leg my arm and my head A: so pretty much everything J: yeah A: just hang in there help is on the way ( a few minutes later the ambulance arrives and takes jake to the hospital and he flatlines twice but the doctors bring him back and they get him up to surgery )(meanwhile at the lab) A: horatio H: alexx E: alexx kayla what's wrong K: jake was in a really bad car accident C: oh my god T: what happened K: i saw the whole thing he stopped at the red light and then when the light went green he went and someone hit him and just kept going N: oh no were the girls with him K: no they are at school but school lets out early today L and N: we will get them H: ryan eric i want you to get the girls with them E: ok H ( eric ryan natalia and lexie go to pick theresa and bel up from school ) ( horatio calleigh and tim go to where jake was hit to see if they can find the guy that did this )(meanwhile after eric ryan natalia and lexie pick theresa and bel up from school they head to the hospital)Th: why are we at the hospital Ry: jake was in a really bad car accident B: what no ( bel starts crying and eric picks her up and holds her) Th: bel stop being a crybaby Ry: theresa!
