Ask Shatner!

Have you had any nagging $#*! My Dad Says questions picking at your brain? Now is your chance to get them answered by none other than William Shatner himself!

In the upcoming weeks, we'll collect all your questions and pass them along to Mr. Shatner to answer. We'll package that up in a nice little video piece and if you're lucky, you'll hear William Shatner answer your questions!

So what's on your mind? Ask away!

anyways, i would ask him What it is like playing Ed, who seems to be so far from Shatner in their personality, etc.? Especially the vegetable scenes! lol Do you have a hard time keeping a straight face while spilling all your feelings out to a tomato? Those are some of the funniest scenes to me! I love when Ed is talking to Henry, and then he is all; I am really glad your here!.....Not you, I was talking to the tomatos! Great show.

Another question that may have already been answered is What did you think when you heard that the show was based off of a Twitter feed? I personally dont do twitter, but did you think it was going to be as good as it is, being based off of something a little out of the norm?

Dear, Bill.

If it were written into a script, would you do a "Bruce Willis" and choose to appear with a 'RECEDED hairline? (as I am.) It might further delineate the differences between your "real" self and your character of ED.

Loved your rendition of "You could be mine" by Guns N Roses from a ways back. Did you ever meet Axl Rose and, if yes, did he like it too?

Love Bleep My Dad Says btw!!!!

Bill, I love you! I've watched every show you've ever had....even your old Columbo and Twightlight Zone episodes. America will watch anything that you're on and you've picked a great show! Keep the laughs coming because this is one of CBS's best shows! Ok, my question is.....Do you think you could/would ever play a gay character? But not as comedy, as a straight gay role? I really enjoyed the episode where you told off your old navy buddy.

I am a huge fan of Star Trek and Bleep My Dad Says. Will there be a future episode of Bleep My Dad Says where Ed goes to a Star Trek convention as Captain Kirk?

Ihave 2 questions for you,

1st was there sum-thin going on between James Spader and you on Boston Legal or what?

(sorry had to ask, the on film chemistry between you to was a bit weird.. )

So are you going to be in the next star trek move?

(thus question was a no brainier..)

My wife and I enjoy the show except for your co-star "Jonathan Sadowski" we find him a bit annoying.

The rest of the cast is wonderful...

Mr. Shatner,

I've watched your interviews over the years, ones with you and Mr. Nimoy, and especially enjoyed the one from your Raw Nerve series on Bio. You and Mr. Nimoy seem very fond of each other, a genuine friendship that's grown from the many years of knowing each other. That being said, have you worked on getting him to participate in an episode of "bleep" My Dad Says? I know millions of us die-hard, longtime fans, would of course get an enormous kick out of seeing your Ed character given the "whatnots" from Nimoy...

I'm sure I'm not the first to ask, so I ask anyway...as a fan of both... Give the people what they want, LOL (that's Laughing out Loud, and no I didn't have a seizure...okay I think I'm a comedian too).

Love the show! I think I have liked everything I've seen of Shatner from when my dad would watch TJHooker when I was a kid, when I would pretend to be asleep then get back up to watch reruns of Star Trek, and every single time my wife watches Miss Congeniality. What role has he liked the most. I know most actors would just name what they are currently engaged in doing, but I can only imagine that he had a lot of action roles and hot women with him when he was younger. He must have a couple events from old roles that stand out as the kind of story he'd want to tell his grandkids about.
