I absolutely loved him Murder On (season two) as Wyler. I've watched all the episodes and he was excellent.

"The Guys" is the performance I love the most. Such emotion!

I've seen "The Guys" too. It was a poignant story about 911, and he gave an excellent performance. I adore him in "Bulletproof Killer" (He's totally hot and gorgeous in this film!), "Lantana", "Happy Hours", "Betsy's Wedding" as Stevie, among others are movies I watch on my iPod.

ALP has been injured today while filming Balibo in Darwin, Australia.Apparently, an explosive device designed to simulate gunshot discharged into his arm. The good news is that it is said not to be serious. There must be a break in filming WaT at the minute,

Yes, and we ALP fans are all a bit stunned at the moment. As long as it's not serious, that's good. More information will come through soon, fingers crossed.Oh, our poor Anthony.

Well, the good news is that apparently this accident happened back in July, which makes a lot more sense to me since I thought they were done with principle photography on Balibo. Article here (never mind, the link won't work, just google "Anthony LaPaglia" in the news, should come up as the most recent article):http://www.news.com .au/dai - ytelegraph/story/0,,24427719-5 001021,00 - htmlNews people should really be more responsible with their reporting rather than get us all in a panic thinking this accident happened today! Grrr...I am really pissed off right now!

While I'm sure that Anthony appreciates your sentiment , the accident happened back in July so we're all a little late to give him well-wishes as it's surely healed by now.

this is what I suspected when I first read the article. sometimes google alerts appear to be current but are not. there is another article from a diffent newspaper that confirms it happened in July and he was bsck filming the same day. Whew!

Visions of Anthony aqs Jimmy Wyler in Murder One came to mind -when his character was shot in the arm. Curse the internet for being unreliable.Crisis over. Phew indeed.

Ok first of all, at the risk of repeating myself, the accident happened in JULY , not today. I'm sure Anthony is just fine by now.Secondly, where did you get the idea that ALP is no longer on the show, birdlvr58 ? Last I checked, he was still under contract through next season...and he played a significant part in last week's episode...

Okay, I'll give this a go. brdlvr58 , Anthony was in last week's premiere episode, 7x01 Closure which aired (early) in Canada and the States. The accident happened during the summer hiatus/vacation when he was filming Balibo in Australia in July. There were reports that came out today that made it sound like it had just happened -and now it has been corrected. So it happened months ago and Anthony has been filming WAT episodes for some time now and now two have aired. He has not been missing from the show.
