I am glad that they have finally brought MAc and Stella together. As i said before with the Flsck and Angel thing that today many crime fighting shows usually have partners that are guy/girl and they always have this tension between them and is always there. They know every little secret about eachother but they cant reach out and kiss them. And exactly how long have mac and stella known each other??? well, to be honest with you when i first watched the show i thought that stella and flack would get together, and mac was a long time friend. i guess all long term friendship will most of the time, will become a real bf and gf relationship. afterall, they know every little thing that there is to know about you. but stella and mac really have chemistry and i dont mean work.

When Mac had a relationship with Peyton hadn't any problem in the lab... They had had a good relation and was everything good in the lab with the team. Mac had a correct way in the lab and in the end of the day he was a diferent person with Peyton, out of lab... I think that wouldn't have problem if he had a relationship with Stella out of lab.
Peyton didn't work in the lab. She worked in the Medical Examiner, not the lab. So technically, they weren't co-workers. I didn't mind that relationship because of the fact they didn't work together. Mac and Stella together as a couple would just be too much, especially as long as they've been friends and Melina herself said they'd never get together unless it was the last season.
I am glad that they have finally brought MAc and Stella together.
I'm confused. Do you mean you're glad they work together or that they are together as in a couple because they're not a couple.
well, to be honest with you when i first watched the show i thought that stella and flack would get together,
Actually, when the show first started, they were going to pair up Flack and Stella and then didn't go there.

I know that she wasits/is a medical examiner. OK. i am not stupid, i at least know that. when i meant the lab for peyton i really meant that they worked together and would see eachother everyday. working in the same building and everything that could not exactly be good to work with someone who can ban you from the morgue. So, they were co-workers because if they didnt have a medical examiner then where would they do once they get the body. So, the whole forsenic team and autospy is one big team/group. i know that mac and stella are not a couple but i glad that they dont have that tension betweeen them anymore and they are back to the way they were. i know at the being they wanted to do the whole flack and stella thing that is when i first saw the show. they would make a cute couple but after watching the show alittle more and catching up with everything i thought it was better that they were partners. i am glad that flack at the beginning got out of his shaft/john travolta cop style or whatever you called that. he is make cuter now that his hair is cut and he doesnt seem so saturday night fever. but still love him.

i don't think of their relationship as romantic, I have always saw Mac as like Stella's big brother and both of them would do anything for each other because they don't have any family and they kinda look at each other as family. I think it would be a big mistake for the show to make them a serious couple. I would still watch because I love this show but I can't see how they could sell them as a serious couple. I have always seen their characters as brother - sister not lover to lover.

I'd prefer if they weren't linked romantically. I don't like shows where everyone has to hook up with someone else; particularly 2 lead characters.

Okay think about this: They kinda followed a pre existing character profile from the orinigial CSI series with making Stella a foster child and Sara from CSI a foster child. Sara hooked up with Gil in the oringinal CSI and if they hook up Stella and Mac...it will be following the same story line. I think they need to stay away from that and be their own show.

I disagree with the similarity to the CSI storyline about Grissom and Sara. I'm an absolute fan of the StellaMac relationship and I think there would be ways to make it a very nice and subtle topic. They wouldn't need to run around, throwing looks at each other, holding hands, kissing etc. in public. It would be nice just to KNOW there is something, there's no need to show that much of it. Sometimes a little something at the end or the beginning, a little more showing of the chemistry and ... just this knowing each other so well, understanding each other, being there for each other. Nobody at the lab needs to know, it would be easy to put it in this way without making it the center of the show (which I agree doesn't make sense because this is a crime show after all).Yet, it would give the show a LOT of bonus. Maybe one day the writers will listen - just keep hoping and trying to get through whatever unpleasant stuff they come up with in the meantime (after all it's better nothing at all than some other character involved, fans don't seemt to like that at all).littlesheep

I agree with littlesheep in that I would prefer to see nothing at all with Mac rather than a romance with anyone (including Stella). I didn't mind his smiling and comment when he got the "look back" at the end of last night's episode, but I would much rather see him fighting crime than having a romantic relationship. Funnily enough, I don't mind Lindsay and Danny having a romantic relationship.

I was beginning to think I was the only person who didn't want Mac and Stella together. I thought I was going to get hate mail from everyone on this message board for speaking out against a Mac/Stella thing!

I think Stella and Mac would make a great couple mainly because of what they have gone through together. I do, however, believe that the dynamics of their working relationship would have to change. Mainly because Mac will not do anything that is not above board or that would jeopardize the lab's integrity. So I envision a scenario where Mac or Stella gets promoted... something happens that they would no longer be partners. The truth is, a large number of coworkers end up in relationships. As for the relationship angst that would surely follow, all relationships have drama. I think it would be a credit to any writer that could actually have two main characters in a relationship that didn't blow up (especially around sweeps month) or get too sappy. But I don't think most viewers really want to see happily ever after on TV, otherwise there would be a successful drama on TV with a main character in a happy relationship. There is an angst whore in all of us. We love the drama.

Mac is a person who needs a woman... He lost Clarie of a very sad way. On the day he said to Stella that Peyton won him, she wrote a letter to him finishing their romance. He didn't deserve... Two very sad loss...Stella, beautiful, intelligent, sensitive, needs a man who she can trust because after what happened, it is difficult to trust in someone. Two people alone... They need each other... They are very friendly, understand each other by look... From a beautiful friendship could be born a great love... Wouldn't need be the core, a sutle romance, only us, viewers, would have knowledge...Like... 5.06 - Argentine restaurant... Do you pay? Sutle... Good way to start...Well, do you remember when Mac received the letter from Peyton? (4.04) Stella read, accidentally, after she went to meet him... That scene was perfect!! She was there to say him: "I am here, always!" Well, she said only the eyes and he had understood... They are beautifull!Mac&Stella!!! We need love, love a lot! P.S.: English isn't my first language, so you can find many mistakes, so I'm sorry...Mac&Stella

I would like to see Stella and Mac moments on CSI: NY. I'm not sure if it'd be a good idea for them to become a "couple", because with shows like CSI (and Criminal Minds), relationships inside of the show take away from the intensity and seriousness that it calls for. Of course, we as fans love to see moments between the characters, and after a while, the characters really grow on you... Become your family, you know ? And we all live for the moments where two of the characters have a cute little... moment. You know ?Either way. It'd be pretty cute to see Stella and Mac moments. And maybe it could work wit them as a couple? But you have to factor in that Lindsay and Danny already have a thing going on... And there's that little flare with Flack and Jennifer... I think that Stella could fill in the gap that Peyton left. I'm not going to go as far as saying that she could fill in the gap that Claire left, because it's hard to fill the gap when you lose a loved one, and I don't really believe that you can truly fill that hole... But I think she could mend it quite a bit. (: Who knows... Maybe we'll see some Stella/Mac... ;]- Jennifer
