I think it would be interesting to meet Leonards parents and siblings too. I don't remember any history given for Leonard,

Roseanne Harris Conner (Roseanne Barr) Dan Conner (John Goodman) would be a great twist to place them as Leonard's parents!The cut up lines and jokes between Roseanne & Sheldon.

Well, the biggest problem there (forgetting the gender thing) is that Sheldon's dad is deceased.

Lilly Tomblin... she is soooo funny and would fit the part with the other actors in the show!

Another vote to keep Laurie as Sheldon's mom. I agree that we should learn more about Leonard and his family.

I think we should stop with the Roseanne - Big Bang Theory crossovers. Roseanne was like 10 years ago; I think the majority of the viewers don't even know John Galecki and Sara Gilbert was on Roseanne.

Well, I may have watched all of three Roseanne episodes in my life -- never was a Roseanne fan. And none of the three episodes were when Galecki was on. However, I was certainly aware of who Sara Gilbert was (aside from being Melissa's sister) and that she played Darlene. I was aware of an actor named Johnny Galecki who played Darlene's boyfriend/husband David, although TBBT was the first time I watched him on a show.And, for the record, I knew who Laurie Metcalf was, and who she played on Roseanne.In other words, unless you're from Mars, or only recently born, there's a good chance you're aware of most of the people on Roseanne, even if you didn't care for the show.10 years! That's very recent history. Goodness, I know who was on many of the sitcoms from the 50s, and I wasn't even born until the mid 1960s!

The mid 60s? Wowsers. I'm talking to people more in my generation. Those born in the 80s.

The twin sister thing was good but should have made the MOM the dingy one

I agree with Laurie Metcalf reprising her role as Sheldon's mother. She has it down pat and is able to put Sheldon in line when he gets ahead of himself. Without her Sheldon would have no Kryptonite

We have not seen Leonard or Penny's parents yet.Thoughts?
