I get the feeling that Eastern European countries sometimes try to hard to adapt Western culture.

.......as I mentioned, IMO, the show is a formula that works..... take that game show Deal or No deal ..... It was in other countries before USA.....the formula worked..... did the It Crowd preceed TBBT?

But it is not the belorussiancase Believe me, I live here They just want once in a while to make a good thing... but have no idea how! And the only way they find - to use somebody else's successfull idea. Creative work under government control never happens

On the which came first GG..IT Crowd or TBBT?, just checked IT Crowd premièred in the UK in Feb 06 and TBBT was first broadcast in Sept 07 so Graham Linehan beat Chuck Lorre by a year a bit, sorry Mr Lorre.

Interesting...... IMO only major, significant difference (not counting storylines) is one show focuses on work, other at home.

Just watched... It's very, very sad. I even couldn't imagine that it could be so bad.

In spite of not knowing what they said, their actions were boring. I doubt they will

succeed us.

I'll translate the first "joke":

- Who's taken the key at reception?

- Taking into consideration that I don't have it, by method of exclusion I conclude that you have.

(offscreen laugh)

Granted, The It Crowd is not even close andno where near the TBBT, it is good for a few laughs..... just got done watching season 3.... ep 2 & 3 definitely had some good laughs, (although story lines are lame ) IMO..... watched season 1 &2 last summer - good for a tbbt dry spell.
