we saw how well that worked for Chris Engen and it would be the same with Josh. Josh doesn't care who he works with just as long as he works they were ready to write the character of Nick out of the show, kill him off, so we all know how much they really cared about this character. There were a few that talked to him including his own wife that helped him make the decision to stay.

Ummmm, I was actually just joking about the contract negotiations part (it was for laughs). But FYI....I don't think it is a thing like CE's situation. I respect him for standing by his convictions and not slavin' for the man! But back to Josh, he has a wife and kids to feed so, I'm sure he won't mind doing a horror day-time flick with SHARIT but my point was that Ibelieve JM includes himself in that65% (75%) and prefers to work with RED. In another interview,not this interview but one of his LASTones, he says that he can learn such great things working with such a terrific actress as Michelle Stafford. On the other hand when Sharon was mentioned........(there were grass hopper noises)!!! LOL Basically, he knows that working with MS has given him much more character depth and when there is good chem and deeper characters, people tune in...if you suck and get a lame-o s/l, you could be Mary Jane's next victim. Before Phyllis was in Nick's life......it was BOREDOM! The only time I liked seeing him pre-Phyllis, is if he was working out and sweaty at the GCAC. The "SHICK" relationship was sooooo boring and going NOWHERE (just like NOW)! Working with MS brought JM and Nickto life. Now, he knows the s/l's goin' down b/c they had to bring the Nut Case back in and make him a wishy-washy dork once more! He is not the same Man that married Phyllis (the first time) and told his Dad off and started Restless Style! That was the CONFIDENT....HOT....STEAMY.... .SMART...COOL and GOOD daddy NICK back then! I loved the time he made the home-made musical for baby-SUMMER's crib, with b/w pic's of him in it b/c he had read that baby's can't identify many colors (right before the plane crash). That was cute and soooo adorable. Now look what Nick's character has been reduced to? I hope you SHICKIES are real happy. Y'all must really, really hate Josh! I don't think it would have been humiliating! Tobe is a big part of his life. Maybe, she wanted to discuss things "woman to woman"...ya know? Go Tobe, Go Tobe!!!Anyway.....I'm a "STAND BYYOURMAN" kinda gal and I have been in the position of calling the SHERIFF (and Ilive in arather largecounty) and telling him a thing or two about the way things were being handled at the County Sheriff's Dept (hubby's place of employment). I am the same gf.. I like the bad ones and make no apologies.. I love that Phyllis does what she wants.. I just want this nice phyllis to go away.. I want the writers to give her that delicious edge back that she had.. I never like boring wimpy characters like sharon or lily... they bore me to tears and the fact that SC andCK are lacking in talent does not help me to like the characters

yeah we all heard this one too which was pretty funny considering it was the Phicks that were telling us how much SC's mother in law despises her.

not making excuses for anyone, what actor wouldn't want a meatier role and that includes Josh Morrow. Its hilarious that the argument is he only wants to work with MS, when in one of his recent interviews he said I'm looking forward to working with Sharon Case again. As long as the role is challenging they love it, and thats wht my point was.

I do not say in my post that JM is lying, or that he is wrong. I do believe that JM is saying what he wants to BELIEVE is true, and that in itself is stupid and ridiculous. He should not be saying he has a preference at all in regards to who he works with, but being the type of man he is, JM has made some serious blunders and some inaccurate remarks that hopefully have came back to haunt him. Really, the whole POINT about why JM would prefer to work with MS instead of SC is what is so fascinating here. Actually, I would venture to say that the reasons for this are very very different than anyone problably realizes, and personally, I think it has much more to do with his own private history with SC, which is very different from his private history with MS. MS is a "frat bro." SC is NOT. People, really, it ought to be very obvious about what is REALLY going on here.

Working with Michelle, what do you think she brings as an actress to your story?

She is one of the best actors I have ever seen in my life, and that includes any theater and any movie. I love her unpredictability. I never know what she is going to do.

Does it ever bother you, that perhaps, you can’t ‘ping- pong’ back with her in a scene?

JOSHUA:

I relish that opportunity. I look forward to that moment where I have no idea what she is going to do. Michelle is a whirling dervish of energy and spunk that is unmatched around here. Now, I have had very few acting jobs. I have done some theater and a couple small movies and “Y&R”, so my experience in working with actors is just with a small pool of them to draw from. Michelle is so incredible! The moments that take my breath away are when she says nothing. She does not have to say anything to convey the most impactful thing I have ever seen or witnessed. The scenes I have played where Nick has hurt Phyllis, are crushing to me as a human being. I see how it consumes her, like no other actor I have been around, and she is amazing. I could never say this to her face because I would get embarrassed and run away, but she has taught me more about acting than anyone in the world.

What about working with Sharon Case (Sharon)? Were you happy about this turn of events, possibly reuniting with Sharon from a story perspective? Or, do you prefer Nick with one woman or the other?

JOSHUA:

It’s kind of difficult for me to do. I had ten years with Sharon. They were ten solid great years, but I felt I was ready for a change, or I am going to fall into a pit here. I need some movement. So they broke us up at a great time and did it in a good way. Now, I am kind of ambivalent about it because I love working with Michelle Stafford. I laugh with her all the time, and laughing is one of my favorite things in the world. Look, they are going to break us up. It’s going to happen, so I feel very sad about that. The alternative is I am going to go back with Sharon. I have said this many times, and unfortunately Sharon Case has taken this the wrong way, “I don’t want to get rushed back into another ten year romance with someone, whether it be Sharon or Farah Fawcett. It doesn’t matter who it is.” That being said, I look forward to working with Sharon again. We have told some great stories. Sharon has taken this the wrong way because I had said that in the press, so to clarify: “I am absolutely looking forward to working with Sharon. I just did not want to go to a happy marriage in the tack house where we are talking about what we are going to have for dinner and some cute things the baby did.” Happy sucks! I don’t want to go back and be happy now. Now, I will go back with Sharon in a heartbeat, where there is a messy, drawn out story where there are problems. That I will look forward to.

We are three weeks ahead of shooting, and I have scripts a week in advance. So all I know is one month ahead. My role on the show is clearly defined. I show up, I generally take my shirt off and say my lines . The bottom line is that JMworks with whom he's written to work with, his personal opinions doesn't matter, as he likes working with both women. As far as the poll goes, what's the magical number that's in the poll, 100 fan letters, 200 or 50, no one knows the variable to even be getting all hyped up about it.

ummm, NO rasp.....the bottom line is that JM works whatever s/l is written BUT he believes his fans want PHICK and Ithink his opinions are obvious (even to SC) that he would rather work with MS. And YES.....it does matter to people who like the character and the actor. BUT.....sometimes in real life, other multi-deminsional viewers like to know how the actor feels and wants to feel the genuinness of their acting as well as appreciate and like/love their character.
