Does anyone know where Nicole is originally from? I know she is from a military family and I grew up with the Steinwedells and that Bob Steinwedell is in the military. Wonder if she could be his daughter? It would be a small world!! I believe Bob moved to Texas and he remarried years ago and I know he has children. Thanks!!

Her parents were both in the Marines. Check out the interview TV Guide did with her yesterday. http://community.tvguide.com /blog - entry/TV-Show-Blog/Tv-Previews /Unit-Nic - le-Steinwedell/800047542

Who cares ? Sorry but adding her to the series is terrible, There are NO WOMEN in any Special forces and her interview was garbage . Bridgette needs an early demise or The Unit loses all its credibility I'm a woman viewer and resent TPTB trying to rewrite the series to become a typical soap opera and although I'll be watching the premiere I'll be the first nitpicking it apart too Not a fan of her bring on the series and find it all total crap !

Yup and an opinion shared by many others who think TPTB are grasping at straws trying to see this kind of crap and make it work !! The Unit is about the special forces meaning the men on their missions and their wives keeping things together and this was the original concept for the series- now it is easily becoming a farce and extremely soapy which takes away from The Unit and what it all stands for .. This interview came across as very fabricated and contrived Now it is more like GI JANE or the A-Team which is completely opposite of what The Unit's supposed to be

I'm withholding judgement until I see exactly what she brings to the show. That said, I'm also keeping an open mind about the whole thing. I have confidence that the great writers will make her character credible in this new role.

I am not buying it, otherwise Natural Selection was bogus. She can be in the Unit but she cannot be an operative without going through the selection process. If they try that, then they have diminished the credibility of the show.Nyn

Well remember, THE UNIT is based on Delta Force (1st SFOD-D) .. and there have been rumors for years about a "funny platoon" that had females. Mostly for undercover civilian ops.

I agree with wolflady. I watched it and perhaps don't mind that she will be hanging out with the wives but I don't like here as part of The Unit. They are a tight knit group and just because she suggested it is not a good enough reason to add her.
