How I Met Your Mother

Hi guys!Although I know it is hard to believe that the show will end with Robin and Ted toghether, I think writers have challenged themselves to distract the audience with many alternatives but in the end a surprising twist will let us see the Robin is finally the mother.Who doesn't like a happy ending?

The story can still have a happy ending if Robin is not the mother. There are quite a few of us who think a happy ending means Robin being with Barney. Robin and Ted just aren't compatable, they can't even live together without fighting about everything.

In my oppinion it wont be a happy ending with Robin and Ted together.Victoria and Ted would be more happy, cuz they where great together.And i dont think that we have "met" the mother yet, and if we have, i will bemost dissapointed.

I think that in case we haven't met the mother yet, it's about time writers indroduce her in the show since it wouldn't be nice the mother was someone who had just arrived to the show, unless they intend to make more than 5 seasons...

I liked her a lot too! But I don't think she'll be the mother.I'd really love the mother to be the slutty pumpkin, the perfect match, and the girl who dropped the penny!Especially the penny-dropper!

I don't think we've met her yet. But clearly, she's been around from the beginning. They keep showing missed opportunities on purpose. I agree that I hope she enters the show before we meet her AS the mother. It'd be most interesting for a woman to become a character on the show that we don't even think twice about. And then we slowly learn things like...she was a pumpkin for halloween one year...and she was at that st. patricks day party...or she got stood up by her "perfect match" once...etc. These things just start to slowly come out and then Ted connects everything and realizes he likes her.But I hope Ted doesn't like her at first. The minute Ted likes a woman, people begin theorizing. I want it to be a huge surprise.

Did they ever say that Victoria wasn't the mother? When she left for Germany he said that long distance didn't work, but she was only going to be gone for a year.They brought back the girl from The Pineapple Incident even though we assumed he never saw her again. Who's to say Victoria doesn't come back too? I would really love to see her in some capacity again. She was a great character.

The "voice-of-future Ted" has made some references to the fact that Ted hasn't met the mother yet. In that case this would exclude Victoria.Of course that on the other hand, the authors already said the "voice-of-future Ted" might not be the best of storytellers...

okay, here's my hypothesis:i do believe that the mother is the girl ted bumped into at the club, however i don't believe that the actress who portrayed her was actually who she is... remember ted was so messed up that night that he couldn't remember straight let alone what a woman who he merely bumped into would look like. I think we're going to see that flashback again, but with a diffrent actress playing the girl, and i believe it's going to be wendy the waitress. The thought never crossed my mind until i decoded a clue on the site tedmosbyisajerk.com. There's a song that plays (it's like 20 min long) but at the end there's a garbled man's voice saying something. If you play it backwards it says: Wendy the Waitress is the mother of the goat. So either she's the mother, or she's the reason the goat's in ted's bathroom...anyways, just my opinion.

Hello, greatings from Portugal. In Portugal, How I met your mother just strated season 3, so it's hard to predict who is the mother.. Do the season 3 reveals any leads?
