CSI: Miami

Hey Shadownglass, H-friend, and Kindred Spirit: Sorry, I did not see your post until now. I spend so much time "board tweaking" on just a few messages this one just got pushed down in the list and I missed it! I do think folks who claim to hate CSI:MI and our H-ero and then post that hate on the CSI:Miami Board are sort of a contradiction and a strange bunch. There are numerous shows and actors/actresses that I don't care for, but I would never go to their particular fan/forum boards and just post mean stuff. What would be the point... unless you just like angering people or like arguing or fighting. I guess there are still alot of "bullies" or in my opinion... "childish" people in this world. Like you said... It's best just to "ignore" in most cases. Usually, these folks get bored quick and disappear if they can't get an argument. I tend to ignore too, unless I feel someone is posting uncalled for language or resort to nasty name calling. Later, H-friend

Well said shadownglass, and h-cool; I think that you`ve both hit the nail on the head. I reckon someone must have stolen bigtim7`s toy soldiers!Of course any character is up for fair criticism, but not an hysterical rant, and bigtim7 should bear in mind that most of the things that he criticises are called `characteristics` which give definition, and colour, to the person in question.In a previous email to another forum, I mentioned that one of our Brit. police series had created a character, along the lines of Alexx,. but that he was a poor replica. I didn`t carry on detailing each shortcoming; sufficient to say that he wasn`t very good in the role.

We appreciate H-fans who recognize the wonderful talent of DC and his wonderful character Horatio Caine. Shadownglass has been a longtime fan of DC. I only discovered him when I discovered CSI:Miami. But, he has become one of my favorite actors and through discussions with Shadownglass and other H-family members, I have come to love watching his talent and character creations on CSI:MI and DVD (NYPD Blue Season 1 and some DC movies).Aka: "Board Tweaker", Igo4H and new2csi "KEEP ME POSTED" - Horatio Caine" 4y-1=3b[Nh] is a great actor! Gig'em H!

Thanks for that H-cool; It was an accident that got me on to this page. You might have read from a previous message of mine that a British site called Virgin Media said it understood that CSI Miami was to finish., so to try and find out I just put CSI Miami in the address bar, and the rest, as they say, is history.ShadownglasS has made me feel very welcome, and part of the H-friends club, so I`ll drink to that; no not tea, but Southern Comfort!

I can't understand those peopleC'mon it's obvius taht they don't know what kind of board this one is (kind is:no moderators,administrators,do whatever you want)so they are complaining hoping that someone will cancel show/remove someone who they don't likeAnd than when you said them that they are not so much importanat they say that they are important to God(i think that God has no do with CSI:Miami,just my opinion)People,what's wrong with you?You are all leaving,than coming back...It's better when we all can fight with someone

Well said Shadowdownglass!The fact is this they forget that David Caruso and Horatio Cain are the same but reality says David Caruso is real and his life is real! Horatio Caine is a Character portrayed by David Caruso It's his profession.I noticed that when they do complain it's not about the man now its about what he has done in the past! Well who said any one living on this earth is perfect. if we all were then we would not have room for CSI Miami we would all be off enjoying life to the fullest. People including the Trolls makes mistakes and its ok! It is a part of learning in life! So for all of them who hate the man for his acting abilities in the words of Shadowdownglass "He is not everyone cup of tea!" So drink coffee and move on!!!!The Trolls say they have a right to post their opinions true they do but I do believe that the Word Fan does not allow you to pick, bad mouth, call individuals out of the their names. I think that word is Defamation of Character. Which you all do not personal know of David so why are you calling the man out of his name.As far as who he is I am excited about him and his acting abilities it is a rare and almost not recognize style he has and that in it's self makes him an Excellent actor. So for all of those who are stuck in the norm of the ho hum acting abilities I want to Thank David Caruso for thinking out side of the box! a while ago. around the time when i first joined the board. someone sent me a PM that said something like, " i don't like DC because of the way he stands and delivers he's one liners". that seems to be most peoples problems with H. but what the people who post this don't understand is that. DC has made a character with a personality so strong, that the show wouldn't be the same if all those things were changed, and i think everyone would agree with me when i say that H wouldn't be H without the fantastic one-liners that he delivers. " Drive by ( puts shades on) miami style. YAAAAHHHHH! and the who comes in with won't get fooled again.Mr HoratioSucks was the last H hater that i talked to.H-SHADES

What makes Horatio such a great hero to me is his flaws. DC plays upon those flaws which makes the character of Horatio Caine so human. It is H's struggles, his emotional inner warfare that he wages against himself everyday, his past, his failures, are what makes him such a perfect protector, hero, and man. He is noble, decent, and true. It is the revelation of such a man that draws us in, holds us, becomes our beacon of hope. He is perfectly flawed. I would not have him any other way.
