Worst Week

As much as I enjoyed the pilot episode, I was extremely turned off by the fact that the second episode focused on killing not one but two birds. Not to mention the fact that they made it clear that avocados are highly poisonous to birds. This is a very true fact. The fact that they gave information to people as to how to kill a bird by feeding it avocados is very disturbing. Just the fact that someone thought it was funny to kill two birds was terrible. And of course the way they killed the second bird was horrifying. Then to have the main character play fetch with the dead bird was disgusting. I can't believe anyone would find this funny. As one person said there are many people who have birds as pets and do consider them to be part of the family. The fact that someone found it even close to funny is just unthinkable. I can say if this is direction the show is going to take, then I won't be watching anymore episodes. And I will not support any sponsor of this show.

actually i think it was great that they taught people that avocados are deadly to birds. Maybe it will save a bird's life.

Come on people, are you kidding me? The show is funny. It is a comedy. Do you really think that people are watching it and think "OMG I think I will feed some avocados to my bird - I was wondering how to do it"? I have pets, I love animals, but you guys are really out there with this. I also have family and friends and I'm not going to slam all the CSI and Law and Order Shows that "PRETEND" someone got murdered. Jeez.Love the show. It is mindless and stupid, but if you approach it knowing that, it is really funny. I'm just disappointed that they postponed it tonight to show a Gary Unmarried rerun.

Where is your sense of humor. Its not like they actually used real birds. Besides, there are plenty of shows and movies that make comedy with death of people, animals, and aliens. Laugh a little!

Oh please-they didn't abuse the birds, and they weren't advocating to kill birds by stating avocado is poisonous to birds. Hell, perhaps it'll let people know that fact so they don't accidentally feed avocado to birds! Think of that?It's not like it would be funny if it happened in real life-but this show is about everything going wrong, and yes someone not realizing avocado is poisonous to birds is something that could go wrong. The fact that the dog kept fetching the bird is actually something else that could've happened (bird dogs duh). It's not like the guy wanted the dog to keep bringing the bird back.Why don't you just chill out and stop bothering people with your pathetic attempts at being a bleeding heart liberal? I'm an environmentalist, vegetarian and I work at the humane society, and I didn't get bent out of shape over something this small, why don't you get a joke?

I Love this show but i will very hurt with the bird episode too .I lost my bird one year ago . The bird that dead like a lot my baby. I cry for the episode I hope it was fake birds ...

I agree I highly doubt any birds were actually killed, if it had been people they'd been laughing.
