We think that they count it down each week, and in the opening credits they're not showing the people who were kicked off.

Last Thursday was the first time I noticced that the castaways voted off were not shown at the beginning. They ought to keep it the way it was.

last year they listed the members of the jury, as people were booted off.

Yep, you're right. I re-watched epi 5 last night, and noticed it now says "16" Survivors at the beginning. I believe they've been doing that since China... I like it the new way, though as you can now focus on who's still in the game.
