I'm asking that question for awhile. I like their mature, discreet and yet strong "chemistry" and how Mac opens up to Stella. So Writers/TPTB can we see more actions plz!

Since they are the two main characters of the show I don't see it happening until the show is in it's final season. And even then I hope they don't go there. I love Stella and Mac's dynamic as friends and co-workers and think it would be refreshing if a tv show let a man and woman have that type of relationship without turning it romantic at some point. To me their relationship is stronger as it is now than it would be if it turned romantic.

Why would it have to be the last season? I don't understand that at all. Can't they have a relationship and not have the show go off the air? I think they can. I think any show can have their two main characters in a relationshop and not have it be over. It's all in the fans, I think. Are you going to stop watching just because Mac and Stella get together? I won't. I am a fan of the show. Whatever direction the show goes, I will remain a fan.Melina Kanakaredes is AWESOME!

MartinaMFan,I totally agree with you.The relationship can unfold all along and not out of the blue which will be as weird as that happening in the last season.I'm sure that Melina.K, Gary.S and the writers can do a great job.

Melina did an interview a few weeks ago and she said that Mac and Stella wouldn't be getting together but I agree that if it does happen, it should be the final season and even at that, the end of the final season. I know a lot of fans don't like to hear that but think about it, If they get together near the end then there's more of a chance they'll live happily ever after since the show will be over. That sounds much better to me than letting tptb rip them apart or let things get ridiculous between them like things are with Danny and Lindsay whom we still don't know is together or not.

Why does voicing an opinion have to mean someone will stop watching the show or hates the show or isn't a real fan of the show? This is a forum to discuss the show, and part of discussion is people having differing opinions. Usually when two main characters get together who weren't together at the start of the show it signals the beginning of the end. Will this happen with CSI: NY? Who knows. But I, for one, like Mac and Stella's dynamic the way it is and think a romance would just screw it up.

"Reacting to the Huddy Kiss: http://www.tvguide.com/Roush/R

- -Daisies-58319.aspxMatt Roush said: "...it's just getting a little annoying to see people freak out any time anything dramatic happens on any show. Admittedly some of these ideas may not work in hindsight, but I'm not sure what people expect. For main characters to be stagnant? For writers to avoid adding any sense of plot or drama?" I so agree with him. Why would the shows have to wait till their season's finale to add some character's actions?

Ok, I agree with that BUT real drama{marriage/sex/relationshi p} between two characters who are not planning to leave the show has never really worked out for any show, viewers end up hating one or both and the show goes down the tubes, especially if they are main characters not day players or none contract. The problem comes from not setting it up properly and taking the time to build the characters relationship OUTSIDE the office, not give them a strong background, not just one explained through flashbacks because the writers decide to just throw the two together for ratings sweeps week. That is not creating drama within the scurcture of that show, that is just trying to get huge enough ratings so the show will be picked up again and or so they can sell advertising at a higher rate per minute for that show.

When Mac had a relationship with Peyton hadn't any problem in the lab... They had had a good relation and was everything good in the lab with the team. Mac had a correct way in the lab and in the end of the day he was a diferent person with Peyton, out of lab... I think that wouldn't have problem if he had a relationship with Stella out of lab.http:// br. youtube. com / watch? v= PfkvMfkAUbA&feature = relatedhttp:// br. youtube. com / watch? v= V9_Ha8Zty-s&feature = relatedhttp:// br. youtube. com / watch? v= S8UTPTYMIP8&feature = related(It joins the spaces)

I couldn't Agree With you More. Although I think Mac and Stella would make a great Couple I like their Relationship the way it is. I think It works best for both of them. But I will Say Stella Needs a Stable man like Mac in her Life - Inside of the Pychos she usually Ends up with.

Yes Payton. I forgot her name. she was nice, and yeah I did like her but she didn't really seem like she was in love with Mac. Stella, and Mac look like a great pair, but ya never know.
