Is it to much to ask for those 2 to have a mature, honest, and meaningful conversation about their relationship? You have 2 highly intelligent people who can't just have an adult conversation. And that whole they are socially inept is wearing on my last reserved nerve.I am a HUGE fan of GSR and I want them to be together when Grissom leaves. Is that to much to ask for these 2 characters to have a happy ending?

I'm a huge GSR fan as well, and i don't think its to much to ask for, i mean come on, we've been waiting for almost 9 yrs for him to get his head out of that damn microscope! and after last night, to keep it out!

I agree. After last nights eppy....I am upset that the writers won't just give us (GSR fans) some crumb of happiness for Grissom/Sara

Didn't I read somewhere that Jorga signed for three episodes - so I do not think this is a done deal with her leaving at the end of this episode - did anyone else read that?

I agree for once they could show Sara and Grissom happy and content but TPTB and the writers will never do that for the GSR fan base.TPTB suckered all of US they put out a CSI-GSR Retrospective Video and then the adversities the cuddle scene in the promo to draw us all in and then kick us all in the butt with that stupid ending.

They thought they were being clever and leaving us all wanting more but if they keep this up, it may just backfire on them.

I am new here on this forum, and I have to agree with all posts above. I feel the writers are truly taking the audience (us) through an emotional / mental trip like I've never experienced before in a series. I hope they do have a happy ending for Sarah and Grissom, for if not, it may be the end of my families Thursday night loyal viewership.

I was so disappointed with Thursday's episode. CBS and CSI lost me as a viewer last November when she left the first time. They got me back when she came back for the season premiere and last night. But it was really terrible. It was the Grissom of old telling her his job had to come before her that it was more important. The episode itself wasn't that good not just with what happened with GSR. So until I hear her ever coming back again I will say goodbye to CSI again.

Well, I found the G-S scenes hopeful. Is Grissom finally seeing that Sara is just not good for him? The match was made on very weak needs - need geek-acceptance; rebound from Hank; fear of isolation (well, there she goes again) never laughs at his jokes, very competitive. I could go on. Now she expects him to take his real passion, his work and leave it for her. And what is he suppost to DO with her once he leaves. Is he going to be content just whispering sweet nothings in her ear -she's too emotional for a CSI job- probably too unstable for a marriage. Sorry, GSR fans but I think ANY other girl on the show with the exception of Judy would be a better match.

You make some good points, and looking through this other lens, I would agree with exception of the last statement. In my meandering opinion, there presently are not any other woman in charcter that I feel is a good match for Grissom; although I have had some thoughts of other potential prospects in past episodes. :shrugs:

Guys, Jorja is coming back for WP's final episode. It was pretty much revealed by WP in his Entertainment Weekly interview. There will be a happy ending for our favorite geeks. I agree that this angst is unnecessary but there is nothing we can do about it now but wait until WP's final episode. Keep the faith.

Thank you for that information. I don't keep such close tabs myself, however, with your vigilence, I do have faith for a happy ending in the ongoing drama of GSR. In a way, despite my prefrences of them finding some happy medium together, I am looking forward to it simply coming to an end*

There are alot of things that Grissom could do that he does not have to stay in Vegas for. He can go into teaching which he also loves, do research and his experiments, write another book. Maybe even do some consult work at SF Lab. Sara could finally go back to school to finish her doctorate in Physics and expand her horizons in that field again. He can be happy away from Vegas.
