CSI: Miami

Hey Guys, I just saw an interview with David Caruso and Elizabeth Berkley it seems as though she is sticking around for season 7. There is talk about getting Horatio and Julia together. "Un resolved issue in there relationship" I said what I wanted to say about it after viewing the clip. and my opinion Julia maybe Kyle mother but she is not the love interest I think Horatio needs on the show. [b] what do I say! Accept Please don't take us on this nail biting roller coaster ride again with Horatio and Julia getting together. I don't think she is right for him. She still has a hard and demented personality. You bring her on the show as such and now I am hearing that his life is going to be turn up side down again. You know It's like Jack on 24 how many ways can you kill someone and aspect them to re-appear next season. It doesn't Work! Marisol character was a good balance for him. He is already dark, mysterious and being tormented behind loosing a majority of his family. Not to mention the wife he adored. Any one who says they love someone should trust that person yet she married Ron and not allowed Horatio to do what he needed to do put Ron away. Ok! Horatio character I don't doubt is still in love with Julia in some kind of underline way. Horatio run for your life, she is your son mother but she is not the same woman you met years ago. Then really was she ever. I mean she left you and for what her criminal life or Ron! Humm things to think about writers. We are paying attention you know! No offense Julia (Elizabeth Berkley) Your not the one for Horatio!

Actually, I am very excited at the possible action and suspense that could come out of the unresolved issues for storylines.Now please don't get upset, just hear me out. Given a chance for the writers to delve into these unresolved issues, they can give us a very good backstory as to why Julia mysteriously disappeared 16 teen years ago and why she left Kyle with her mother.She is the only female character as a love interest for Horatio that is truly equal to him. She is strong, intelligent, and independent. Marisol and Yelina were not strong enough characters. They feed into that need of Horatio's to take care of the tender ones.Julia is the only one that I have seen willing to do what is necessary to protect him. She does love Horatio and Kyle and will do what is necessary protect them. She has never kept Horatio from seeing Kyle nor turned Kyle against his father.I really think if the readers give us the backstory many viewers need to understand Julia's actions, it would help them understand who she is.

Let's be realistic here: Yelina and Horatio never going to happen. Marisol, that wasn't even believable. Julia and Horatio are believable, because he is the only woman he has come out and fully confessed to dare I say this loving. Now, I don't like Julia, but I know that Horatio with her is more believable than Horatio with Marisol. Yelina is his sister-in-law, I find that a little too out there for me.

Hi Boo2221,I hear your point and I understand that there are un- resolved issue in their relationships from 16 yrs ago. I will wait patiently as the writers resolved the issues.I also know this, dig deep into the Character's of Horatio and Julia. If you want to get realistic about things and interject some realism into this. You can't go back to your past and ex-spect to pick up where you left off. It will end two ways badly, or with someone getting hurt in the end.This will drag out also until the end of season 7. A wedding will come out of them getting back together and the Ron will return only to seek revenge on them. That is just a out there idea! not to say the writers will go there. We don't know how Ron will return or how Horatio and Julia will play this out.Horatio characters personality is this He can't be happy, The forces that dealt him this hand of torment and sins will not allow him to have a normal life. I remember when he was in confession with the Archbishop of New York. He told Horatio then "When you have done enough, You will know." Now to me that meant he is atoning for his sins by fighting the criminal element on the streets and helping victims and people. He is struggling with his past still in everything he does. The more he looses his love ones, the more he becomes withdrawn and dark inside. Juila to me is not his equal when it comes to a relationship. Marisol was. There has to be a loving and gentle spirit in a love in-trest to calm him down from all the hell he is going through. Julia will fight him tooth and nail. Because of her independent personality she will go against him if he says No! she seem selfish and it's about me.Then again can a zebra changes their stripes. What happens the next time someone from her criminal past pops up will she go to Horatio or will she resort back to her old ways.I don't doubt she loves him, I just don't see that heat that he had with Marisol and Yellena in a romance between them to. The writers brought her in hard core. How they will soften that up, to make her the love interest should prove very interesting to see. I just hope Horatio has the energy to go through all of this again. I mean don't beat this story line to death. Let him at-least have some happiness down the line.I want to see David Caruso Character happy before this series end. He worked Hard for it!! Lol.. I will give it a chance though. I know you were not talking to me when you wrote this comment, but I am going to have to disagree.Horatio, to be honest, has all these woman to pick from but when it comes down to it, he openly confessed about Julia. I agree that a zebra cannot change their stripes, but I a going to have to say, I do believe that Julia loves Horatio, and back in 1991, she left because of other reasons that didn't involve him. Is she wrong for not telling Horatio about Kyle, Yes, but there is also redemption and room for healing.Marisol to me, was someone Horatio felt the need to take care of. Yes she was caring, yes she was kind, but deep down do you think Horatio really loved her? He never showed any kind of affection, that is worth mentioning, I took this relationship as sort of contrived and non-realistic. Some might argue that she was the woman for him, but I disagree. I do believe that Horatio felt sorry for her. (I did not mean that in a mean way, that is just how I saw the situation)Yelina, is a likely component to Horatio, but I will not comment on this because I find it utterly disapproving and I will not watch the show if they get together. Brothers wife, enough said.

Hey Guys!You all have valid points. and talking about his maybe the writers will here how you feel and take in consideration those feelings. Not matter what keep the dialog open on this. I really thank you all for commenting. Its pretty great for us to have a conversation that does not offend each other. I know Horatio loved Julia, but that does not stop me from trusting her. WOW... Have some of you forgotten that Julia was behind the murder of 2 people and has committed fraud and embezzlement for years. Who cares that she was the mother of Kyle. That does not make her a equal or great person. Although, she seems to have a bipolar personality, I think deep down she is a scheming and evil woman.For H, a man who has chased murderers and criminals most his life to put them behind bars and to seek justice for victims and the innocent and who "never gives up" on this goal... this would be a big mistake by the writers and TPTB. I read stuff too on the Net about H wanting Julia to redeem herself in Season 7, but to form a romance between these two would be contradictory to the H-character. CSI:Miami was not in the Top-10 shows this past week and CSI:NY actually surpassed CSI:Miami in ratings. This use to not be the case. I think if the writers or TPTB pursue a romance between these two and continue with the gray and darker tone... ratings are going to continue to slide.Aka: "Board Tweaker", Igo4H and new2csi "KEEP ME POSTED" - Horatio Caine" 4y-1=3b[Nh] is a great actor!
