I agree with your assesment of Stella's character. Although I don't always care for the revealing tops the wardrobedept puts her in. After all, most of us couldn't (and shouldn't ) get away with wearing something like that. Other than that I do like her character. As for her and Mac, I think they should stay just co-workers. Although it may not be 'weird' having them be romanticly involved, it would just change the dynamics of the show too much. Maybe some day they could get together for the series finale....many, many, many years from now.

I think Stella is an excellent rolemodel for women. She's strong, brave, and independant, but is still very feminine, and beautiful

Hello, misscsiny. Is your response in response to the topic of a romance between Mac & Stella, or are you agreeing with the last post (which happens to be mine)?

I so agree with you smackedfan! I love the little moments. They are so sweet together. I wish there were more moments with them. I re-watch them sometimes, and my friends get so mad. They don't get it. Stella and Mac deserve what the other can give to them. I hope they get together in the next season!

I agree. You know how many times I've watched Grounds for Deception already? LOL.

Nothing really. Just discussing is all. The probability of finding a bullet in a rat is just a little higher than an office romance relly working........I guess. LOL

True.... office romances don't usually turn out well. (not that I would really know, being only 12.) But this is different. They have had a life with each other in it out of the lab for as long as they can really remember. Thats the difference between them and a normal office romance. They already had a connection outside of work. They aren't strangers who said hi in the hall, and smiled at each other in the elevator. They are friends. Who, while helping each other through all that they have had to go thruogh, have started falling in love. It will take awhile for them to notice it, but if you watch closely, they have come to depend on each other and need the others company to get through their difficult times. Taht is the chemistry between them. Always there, right below the surface, never really coming out, but always influencing the way they act and talk with each other. Much more real then Danny and Lindsay.

Flack4ever,....allow me to comment on how you as a 12 year old seem to have figured out a few things that adults havent. Very good.

Hey, I'm newbie in this forum. And just last month starting to watch CSI: NY. I like CSI on top of other TV series...And yesterday I watched CSI: NY (1st series - sorry, so outdated...) and I realized there's something between Mac and Stella... and I had a question in mind: Were they in a relationship before? I think they will make a great couple in the series... I don't know if in the real world they will be a great one...

Hi, Siegrieda. Welcome to the board. I am still fairly new myself. I've only recently begun watching CSI:NY on tv and have since caught up on the entire series online ( http://www.watchcsinyonline.co
m/guide
in case you're interested). Mac & Stella have throughout the series always been very close friends and co-workers. Nothing more, aside from the occasional tease for fans.

Yeah, the show is a "Crime Drama" but, its still a drama show. You gotta have personal storylines going on to keep it interesting. If we wanted to see cops just running all over the city catching bad guys, we'd watch "COPS" lol. I for one, love the drama. And the social relationships and personal complexities of the characters are what keeps the show going, season after season. **SPOILER ALERT FOR ANYONE WHO HASN'T SEEN SEASON 5 FINALE** For example, would anyone really have cared about Angell dying if they hadn't got a chance to see her with Flack, and see what she was really like as a person? No. So, again, I think character development and the social interactions between the characters is important to the show to keep the viewers interested, otherwise you're just kinda watching the same thing over and over again

I agree. The fact that the lets the characters have personal lives is half the reason I watch it. Both Stella and Macs characters are very complex, emotional people. I heard that the new season starts september 26. I hope there is more smack
