Is there a true budding romance between Dallas and Star? And if so - how will it effect the race?

My question would be: What business is it of the CBS administration? Aren't we, the fans, supposed to be generating topics? Could it be that CBS is manipulating the footage we see for ratings? I think this is really strange. I'll add: Why is this a hot topic? Because CBS says so. Really, you guys at TAR and producers, you need to understand what people want to see. I would add that the Survivor people are in the same boat. By that I mean, they are out of touch with reality and what the average person is interested in.We want characters. We are not interested in Hollywood types, good looking, athletic people. We want people of substance, no matter what age they are. Cases in point: Rupert and Yau Man. The Hippies. None of them are good looking, leading men. Hey, there are plenty of characters out there if you go beyond how they look!

Survivor is really bad at this; it's like we're watching a bunch of people auditioning for future modeling or acting parts. I keep wishing they would have a Survivor location that is COLD so people couldn't be showing off their bodies all the time. However, I think it would be a cute twist if there's a romance going on. Especially since the two possible lovers are so cute!

Why is CBS generating topics, to reach out to viewers to expand the consumer base in order to keep the show on the air. I do not mind this one bit, these gossipy tidbits are the reason many people tune into shows, Project Runway even tried to go back into their episodes to pull out the budding romance of two designers who now live together.Any my take on the topic you ask, well you didn't but I will mention. If they did start somethign after the race, I wonder how weird it is to see your girlfriend white lying to you and your mom. I thought that today, as we continually hear about the lying Nick and Starr do the the other teams, Not exactly a great way to blossom a romance!

It is none of my business. If they found love on the race good for them, but I don't watch TAR for that purpose. If I wanted to see a dating show that's what I would watch, not a race!I hope that they had enough sense to remember that they were on this show to win a race, not make a love connection. It would be a shame to lose a race because you thought someone wasinto you and they were just playing you to get ahead.
Well said Henry. This is The Amazing Race, not The Dating Race.

CBS-Admin2:TAR is not about couples hooking up. Please give TAR fans more credit than that, otherwise we would be watching Survivor and the crap show big brother. I used to be a huge Survivor fan, but Survivor is now nothing more than "bb on the beach." TAR = 6 Emmys. Survivor/bb= NONE (besides Probst getting one for his rehearsed lines).

The true test of a mans genius is to what extent he agrees with you, that said bananawind22 must be a true genius.I have never watched Big Brother and gave up on Survivor after the Fiji fiasco, tho I still watch. The Amazing Race is still the best show on television, and as far as Dallas and Starr go I wish them well after the race, perhaps they are trying to be the next Rob and Amber as if one wasnt enough.

Thanks so much for my Laugh of the Day Gene. I'm going to have to show your quote to my wife. Hmmm, on second thought, that would provoke too much laughter.

oops! I've got something else for you to share with your wife bananawind22...All this time that we have been posting on this board I thought that you were a woman. Sorry! LOL---Indeed!! No problem, I guess I was used to the "old" boards where you could put in your profile more info about yourself, and everybody here from those boards "know" me. Here, all you can do is say who you look like.
