Rumor has it the glasses are gone for good. The promo for Wednesday's episode shows him without them as well. The $64,000 question is whether it will ever be explained on the show. It wouldn't take much to give viewers a reason. Just a passing comment about Danny getting LASIK or whatever other reason TPTB can come up with would give viewers an explanation. I know if I worked with someone for 4+ years and they suddenly turned up without glasses one day I'd comment on it if I knew the reason for the change or question it if I didn't know the reason.

I hope they come back. They made him look so cute, even tho he is anyway.

This guys past movies ruined this one, since on his other shows he is a dummy or a retard. this dummy should have died with his allergyand replaced by a well known actor or even another gorgeous babe. I say get rid of this retard I say this based on his past couple movies playing as a retard.

What are you talking about? Just becasue his past movies weren't great, doesn't mean he should be kicked off the shows.

Like I said in another thread, Yes Danny got LASIK, it's only one maybe two days so on his days off?...easy peasy lemon squeezy LOLPersonally, I saw him in person in Los Angeles and he looks hotter without them, maybe he was breaking a lot of glasses with all the knocking about he's been getting lately so they figure cut out the cost of lots of glasses and just get rid of them ?????

I assume you're saying Carmine Giovinazzo got LASIK.

Using the character's and actor's names interchangably can get confusing. I know prior to Danny showing up without glasses Carmine usually wore contacts when not working on the show. Like I said before, it doesn't really matter why they've decided Danny is now without glasses. I'd just like a passing comment explaining it to the viewers.

What?! Danny Messer with out his signature glasses? Dang, it's gonna be kinda...unfamiliar at first but let's hope we can get used to it. After all, he's still CUTE. With or without glasses(:

Carmine is attractive either way, yes. But part of what makes Danny Danny is his glasses. I think it's an important part of his characterization that shouldn't be taken away without at least a passing comment.

Not only that, but what if they did do these things and no one in the lab said anything about it? It wouldn't make much sense to me, so Danny suddenly appearing without glasses and everyone being business as usual about it doens't make any sense either.

Lol Danny without doesn't really effect my CSI:NY viewing but i kinda miss his glasses. He kinda looks blind without them, probably cuz we're used to seeing him with his glasses. (I can't see without my glasses )

Ohmylord, I was literally laughing like crap when I saw that. But it makes a whole lot of sense though. There's gotta something signature about each of the every cast on the show, right? But again, I'm sure we'll get used to the Danny without his specs. Hot people will remain HOT, with or without specs
