I have retired this thread because I keep confusing it with the updated tribal council thread that actually has a poll. Let's continue discussion on that one. This was more of a nominating thread.Someone started a thread that I thought would revel this but it hasn't so I will ask directly:What was the best tribal council ever?Two that come to mind for me are:1.Fiji -the team outsmarting Alex's group and voting out Edgardo.and 2.Micronesia -Amanda's great acting performance before pulling out the HII and getting rid of AlexisI thought this weeks was OK but maybe because there was no nervousness it just didn't do it for me. In the Fiji one, I wasn't 100% sure they would pull it off. In the Micro one, I wasn't 100% sure that Parvati could be trusted not to tell those girls and have things be switched to someone else.So what is your favorite tribal council ever?

I liked the one where James was voted out Holding 2 idols. That was a good one.Alicia getting voted out due to Shii Ann winning immunity was good to "Take that!"And I liked when Danielle finally eliminated Terry in Exile, LOL But thats another can of worms.

Borneo's final tribal council sprouted one of the most memorable speeches in reality tv history.Marquesas' final 4 tribal council when Paschal was ousted because of some retarded rocks. Felt sorry for him.When Judd got voted out in Guatemala. "Scumbags. I HATED OZZY! I still do. I was so frickin ECSTATIC when he was blindsided. Chauvinist baby.

I am in fact a Parvati fan. I was a fan because Parvati was playing the game the whole way through unlike Amanda who rode Ozzy's coattalis until he got voted out. I don't know if Amanda is shallow, I just think Eliza hated how Amanda rode Ozzy(in more ways than one). Same thing with Alexis. I think she thinks women should be independent and shouldn't rely so much on a man. Possibly why she thinks Parvati is a role model for girls. Natalie's just weird. Gay, straight or bi, it was creepy but funny.

I would say that one of the best tribal councils ever was Borneo's final 10 TC. It was the point in the game when everyone realized that there was a Tagi alliance, and the 4-1-1-1-1-1-1 vote showed everyone how necessary it was to have an alliance.

I must say I must disagree with you on the Micro final TC though...maybe I am an Amanda fan and you are a Parvati fan and it affects our perception. I hated that TC. Eliza said Amanda is shallow when she is not...I think a backlash to her being a model. Alexis said she wanted a role model for girls then picked Parvati -nonsense-more model backlash. Amanda was a strong and respectable woman unlike the lazy let me flirt my way to the top and suck at challenges Parvati. Natalie with that weird Bi stuff making me feel as if the championship was stolen due to bi flirting. Amanda giving a stupid answer to Cirie and costing herself a million (or at least a tiebreaker)...Oh...what an ending. I agree! What did everyone have against Amanda that they liked PARVATI better?

Personality wise, I think Amanda was liked better. However, the jurors came to the realization that Amanda rode Ozzy's coattails for about half of the game. Parvati started pre-merge. Plus, Parvati had more friends on the jury. Natalie and Alexis liked Parvati more than they liked Amanda. I think, as a player, Cirie had more respect for Parvati. Eliza hated Amanda. Jason was a wild card, but luckily(in the eyes of a Parvati fan), Jason voted for Parvati.

Agreed about Micronesia, Parvati was teh better player. A classic example of this, Parvati forced Amanda into an "all girls" alliance with Natalie and Alexis while Amanda was on the other tribe. Amanda protested this, but in the end, went along with it anyway. Parvati almost owned that season (Cirie was the best imo though )

Cirie should've won that season. She was doing so well. She's my all-time favorite player. She should do a third season! Or be on The Amazing Race with Marcus and Charlie. . I also like the Tribal Council in Pearl Islands where Osten quit. Jeff was ripping him apart. Jeff was probably pissed off that a spot was just wasted because this big strong man couldn't take it anymore.
