Apologies for the flap.I got a google alert and the article was dated 1 October 2008.I read the article quickly and missed a line in the middle of it which said " The incident took place in July"!Thankfully whenever it happened he was okay.

Don't worry about it, lovineric , the initial article about the incident failed to mention that the accident took place in July, making it sound like it happened yesterday. It wasn't until several hours later that the corrected articles came out saying it happened in July. Like I said, seriously irresponsible reporting. ALP's cell phone must have been ringing off the hook all day with concerned friends trying to check up on him.

Thank GOD, it was a past incident. Today, there are photos of him from a soccer charity in NYC, and he looks gorgeous and well.

Oh, baby, is he fine! He has his gorgeous hair growing back, and is looking gorgeous as ever.

It also looks like any damage done in the explosives mishap this summer on the set of Balibo has long since healed. I'm especially glad that ALP's awesome tattoos didn't get messed up. He showed them off during the Inside the Actor's Studio taping and they looked as good as ever. Yay!

I'm not really sure. I think he had the left arm done first and since it features his wife and daughter, it must have been done after she was born. The one on the right was done later, not sure how much later.

Thanks for that dg. I had seen his tattoos on some candid shots but didn't have a clue when they were done.

Question about those tats, dg . You said his wife and daughter are featured on his left arm. From what I've seen in a few shots, those tats look like cabbage roses. Are the likenesses of Gia and Bridget higher up on the arm? Hopefully, those 'cabbage roses' aren't supposed to be their faces.

Honestly I couldn't tell from where I was sitting. The part devoted to his family is higher up on his arm, but I couldn't tell if they were portraits or just their names. Maybe the camera guy made good use of the zoom lens and we'll get a better look if that segment makes it into the broadcasted Inside the Actor's Studio episode.

Thanks for the information from the taping. I'm also curious to have a look at his tattoos. I look forward to the broadcast of his interview. New episode tonight!

Anthony LaPaglia made a surprise appearance on The Ellen Show yesterday. He got dunked in her infamous Dunk Tank! Dressed as Jack. It was hysterical. It was to help support a breast cancer charity (I think). Anthony is such a good sport! There is a clip of the dunking on The Ellen Show website. I'll try to put the link here, but this board doesn't seem to like links as I recall...
