sheldon and leslie.. never.. season 2 episode 2.. leslie breaks up with leanord because he likes his space stringy not loopy.. how would they be able to even speak?!?!? won't happen!sheldon and penny.. interesting but won't happen either.. insults (wether he knows it or not) penny way to often...penny and leonard... can still happen.. i think we will know in the next episode (S02E10) if penny has any reaction to leonard and stephanie's facebook status changes.. here is really where we wil know if the writers are still thinking of a penny/leonard hookup... even if they hint mildly at her being unsatisfied/unhappy with him in a relationship and then continue with episode storyline without coming back on it.. then they are keeping it for later.. i would hope..possible interesting hook up ... raj and leslie... not howard.. too creepy.. but if the drug raj took to overcome his shynes in season one episode 15 actually came out on the market (without the crazy side effects) and he became smooth with the ladies.. considering he said he would "hit that" there could be a chance.. but only for a date or two.. not a relationship

I don't really see any chemistry between Leonard and Penny. The relationship between them is so boring and predictable.... I hope Sheldon & penny get together. Sheldon & Penny have a way better chemistry than Leonard and Penny.

I think Penny had already had some reactions. She's upset whenever Sheldon makes a comment about her date with Leonard and her apartment is a little messy again (chaotic in Sheldon's words).

I don't like leonard/penny romance - too cliche...I think it’s better to just stay as friends.

Yup, sitcoms need sexual tension and Cheers was the master of sexual tension. The writers discovered that the show was much funnier when Sam and Diane were fightisn than when they were dating. I would think Penny and Leonard will have more near misses but it is too early in the show to have them date.I do think they should do an "alternate universe" show next year where Leonard has a dream that "the boys" are cool and a not so attractive Penny has a crush on him. It could be great, Sheldon could be a rap master with a sideways baseball cap, one of the could be a biker, Leonard could just be a stud with a lot of women chasing him and he would like Penny but but just as a friend. Kind of a reversal of rolls so Leonard could see life through her eyes.

Im of the ones that think sheldon is hilarious, but really watches the show because of the leonard - penny thing. Im okay with the writers delaying the union, but i root for they dropping a lot of bones, like jelaousy and so. Hope they hear me

I'm sorry, I just can't seem to get into these two. Individually, I like them both. But together as a couple? Not so much. The chemistry just isn't there and I feel like the writers are FORCING their relationship on us.

Penny and Leonard are boring. They don't even have anything to talk about then they are around each other. Sure in real life it would be cute but I would not tune in to see the paint drying show that is their relationship. Sheldon and Leslie are too much the same apple to be interesting, it would be a daily contest for who is more intelligent. My bias is for Sheldon and Penny due to the funny interaction when they are together, face it; the show would not be on the air if Sheldon and Penny did not interact.

Point; now all Leonard thinks about is sex with Penny now all Penny thinks about is when will Leonard make a move after Leonard will say EVERYTHING he ever thought about saying and share his world after Penny will listen, be interested and share her world with him! PERFECT

Penny and Leonard have zero chemistry (two actors lack chemistry). Because of this, I found all of their scenes together really boring.

Think about it - Diane was the nerdy brainiac and Sam was the floozy. They were one of TV's greatest couples, and they can't work it out or the show will be over. That's one of the reasons why Big Bang will be such a success. Even if Penny sleeps with Leonard, even more than once, they will never resolve their love because that would be it for the tension, no more show. Another reason the show is now and will continue to be so successful is another TV formula: people value intelligence and they want to feel smart. Frasier was for wine-cooler sipping yuppies, but it worked because, if you noticed, in all the puffery there was a ton of slapstick. I mean every episode came down to some base silliness and immature comedy. Same with Big Bang. I mean I can't even type "Big Bang" without snickering because I have a dirty mind and I think that's what they were going for.Well they got me. I'm hooked. I want, against all hope, for Penny and Leonard to get together. Sigh. I think one day Penny should have a line something like: "Of course Leonard's brilliant, he's attracted to me, right?"Is season 2 out on DVD yet? Anyone?Sheldon and Leslie? How did this get started? One thing about them - anyone capable of intense and damaging put downs would also be able to give some pretty good compliments. The way Sheldon built up Lolita and put Leslie in her place, successfully stealing one and getting rid of the other. He should use his power for good, instead of always bragging about being the top of the food chain.

obviously the writers are still peeking our interest with leonard and penny, and stillshow them as sometimes jealous of the other's love interests, take the hallway kissingscene with both couples in this past monday's rerun.and speaking of big bang and dirty minds, remember thisfor each of us, it all started with a big bang, well...mom and dad's big bangbut it was a big bang....hopefully.

I have absolutely no interested in Leonard and Penny as a couple. It's not only the lack of chemistry, that plot ceased being interesting after The Middle Earth Paradigm. The problem is that I don't think Leonard likes Penny for who she is, he only likes her because she's "hot" and if Penny liked Leonard so much she'd have done something by now (remember, she's a "big ol' five" ).So please, writers, I know it's useless to ask because you'll do it anyways but: DON'T GO THERE.
