That is just crazy talk, I don't even understand why they brought LH back in to the storyline? Stupid, she has been in a total of 5 episodes now and I doubt that they would make such a storyline between both Girssom and her seeing as they haven't seen eachother mucho. Although you never know with these writers, they could do anything...but hopefully nothing 'stupid'. You know? If nothing happens be between Sara and Gil before Billy leaves then I hope that they come back before the end of the show and finally patch things up, alot of fans want to see the two of them leave together, not Grissom with anyone else. But you keep in mind people, if they don't say or mention anything in this Season they could always come back to the storyline at a later date and I am sure that all of us who have quite watching because of the lack of great characters will most deffinatly tune in to see the happy ending.

When Sara was with him, he was happy and well fed and had a great mood. Now he's the way we're all seeing he is.
The match was made on very weak needs - need geek-acceptance
I agree that both of them being geeks plays a part in their attraction, though not all.
rebound from Hank
Except Hank (the skank, not the dog) himself was set-up as a stunt to see if she could date someone ther than Grissom because he just wouldn't make a move.
fear of isolation (well, there she goes again)
But they both like isolation on principle. Even as a couple, they didn't burst their isolation bubbles, they just changed two individual bubbles for a dual one.
never laughs at his jokes, very competitive. I could go on.
We don't know she never laughs at his jokes. And being competitive is good as long as it's not that much, and isn't in their case.
Now she expects him to take his real passion, his work and leave it for her.
I think there's a little mistake here, his real passion is not his work, it's science. He's passionate about science and bugs, and there are tons of ways of dedicating to science and bugs without facing death everyday. And if his prefers his job over Sara, now he doesn't have her to be his burden. Now he gets to be alone (as he likes) and dedicate all his time to his job. Congratulations Grissom! You got what you wanted, so why are you soo sad right now?
And what is he supposed to DO with her once he leaves. Is he going to be content just whispering sweet nothings in her ear
I don't think so, I don't think she'd be content with that, either. But again, he's an entomologist and she's a physics major before being CSIs. They can always get other jobs or other goals in life. It's not like it's seeing dead people in Las Vegas or nothing.
she's too emotional for a CSI job- probably too unstable for a marriage.
Being too emotional for a CSI job doesn't mean she's too emotional or unfit for other jobs involving physics and science. Too unstable for a marriage? With the exception of when she left for the first time (produced by trauma), she's been pretty much a constant in Grissom's life. Besides, we're all too "something" for a marriage, and too "something" for parenting, and yet there are 8.000 millions of us.
Sorry, GSR fans but I think ANY other girl on the show with the exception of Judy would be a better match.
Lindsay, this may be your chance !Seriously, and "Grissom loves Sara" apart, there are many reasons why most (if not all) women wouldn't be a better match for Grissom, but it would make this message even longer than it already is.

I am a HUGE friend of GSR. It just seems so right for them to be together. They have so much in common. They understand each other. I think it is the only relationship he should ever have. LH and him are just perfect together as friends. He likes Sara to much. He doesn't see LH as anything more than a friend. Grissom and Sara belong together. FOREVER AND EVER!!!!!

CSI_Bob you need to look deeper, they are the perfect match for eachother and as SaraSiddle22 has stated they understand eachother in many ways, I just think that Grissom oesn't understand that there is something more above the surface which he can see. Lady Heather doesn't know him as well as Sara does and she never will, I agree with SaraSiddle22!

Sara and Grissom understand each other and accept each other as they are. That's why Gil let Sara go when she needed to get out of Vegas. He understood her need to get away and to think through what was going on inside her. She understood how hard it was for him to cross the line of making their relationship become intimate and patiently waited for him to finally be ready to cross that line. To me that more than anything shows how much these two are meant for each other. Yes they both have faults and may not have handled their relationship how others would but they recognize each others faults and shortcomings and strengths and accept this about one another. I really hope the writers will listen to all those that have posted in overwhelming support for having Sara and Gil end up together when he leaves. To often in TV relationships are torn apart over and over again cause it makes good 'drama' but I think it'd be nice for once to have a happy ending. Just because Sara left again to me doesn't mean it has to be over with Sara and Grissom. She simply can't stay in Vegas... there's to much bad memories and shadows over her in that town. Now that Grissom is going to be leaving the show I think its the perfect time to give us the final act to their story and allow them to be together. All Sara has really indicated to him that she needs is for them to be together away from Las Vegas. I think perhaps they could have over the course of the next several episodes, him to come to the conclusion that he'd rather be with her and leave LV to go teach somewhere else and be with her. I hate that he's leaving just like I hated that Jorja left but if William Peterson is ready to go do other things, then I hope the writers will at least give us fans that ending for Sara and Gil that most of us want.

Thoughts, feelings, reactions to tonight's episode with Sarah's declararion of happiness, and Gil's reaching out to Lady Heather?Honestly... I just feel sick to my stomach. I cannot wrap my heart around Sarah leaving a "dear John" podcast? Anyone else out there...

I believe that Sara is asking Grissom to come to her, just like he asked her to come to him 9 years ago. In the video she indicates that she did want him to come with her on this trip. He is still unbalanced, he thought he could live without anyone in his life, and now he is scared and unsure of what to do. He is more angry with himself than with Sara, he is finally realizing some things are out of his control and this is not a comfortable place for a scientist. She is asking him to choose her over his job not because she is broken but because she makes him happy. I believe that he will make the right choice!

Thank you, I enjoyed reading your point of view very much. I am still without words of my own to express how I am feeling.

I can understand that Sara can't live in Vegas anymore. she needs a different environment. But she is letting Grissom have the freedom to make a decision, by saying she will be alright, whatever he decides. I think that show she cares about his happiness and wants him to make the right decision for him. I can understand Sara not wanting to live in Vegas, I myself hated living in a big city I found it very depressing.

It was just creepy how Grissom and Sara interacted. BORING! There was no passion. Nothing about their interaction seemed believable or interesting. I'm a big William Peterson fan but he needs to wake up and emote! I don't remember them even kissing (I know, I know, they did, it shows it in the picture on the website)but I never saw any heat! They should've killed off sara when they had the chance. I kept hoping. And now here comes Lady Heather again. That ship has sailed. They should've pursued that story line long ago and far away. Now it's just blah. Grissom used to be interesting, weird but interesting. Now I can't wait to see who comes in after him. Kind of like when Mandy Patankin left Criminal Minds. He did us all a favor. Joe Mantegna is yummy. I fully expect to be much happier when William Peterson moves on. I'm still a big fan, don't get me wrong.

Lets face it, Grissom doesn't exactly know what he wants from a relationship. Thats just his character but both Sara and Grissom understand eachother on a certain level. Keeping Sara on the show was the best thing that they ever did in my own opinion, otherwise CBS would have only a handful of viewers that would like to see what happenes with Grissom. GSR has been there from the beginning and they should end it the way that the public would like to end it, with a happy scene. There was absoloutly no point in bringing Lady Heather back in to the public view, she just does nothing for many of us. Grissom needs to have his happy ending, with Sara end of. Then CSI will once again be great.

Personally, I agree with the above person that the fans deserve to have a happy ending for Grissom and Sarah. If the writer's are too blind to see this then they have lost one household here. Bringing Lady Heather in was yet another mind-bonk to those who are sitting on the edge just hoping to see Grissom and Sarah reach some happy conclusion. There are so many ways this can happen, but it's up to the writer's on the fate of our favourite couple. The trailer for this week, I must say Grissom is looking pretty good after a night or more at Lady Heather's. *barfs up breakfast*
