Wow, this thread's old..I was wondering by some of the comments. Shine always has it right.
Now for my turn:Matty, Matty, Matty!!! - There's NO contest! He did show his character earlier on by helping (Gillian I believe) up the hill in the 1st Challenge. For all the money he had and will have, Matty's got "it". What counts inside. You can tell he's appreciating the things in life, - and that proposal almost swept ME off my feet! Matty's had some learning to do, yes but he recognizes that. That's a Man.Marcus suffers from sense of "Entitlement", a harsh lesson he just learned isn't so. I could never be with, nor encourage any daughter of mine to be with a Marcus. He wouldn't try hard at anything beyond his job (I hope)! as he's probably won at everything. He knows he's good-looking. That turns me off right away. Don't like my men 'prettier' than I am! lol - I'll bet the minute Marcus was born he was told he was perfect . Probably never really had to go out and get a job, was the all-popular Jock boy in school, with all the girls after him, blah blah. It still shows today. He still thinks he should have won. Hello, Marcus - you didn't. Forgot to play. Looks weren't getting you to the end, my friend. But Matty's right in the finals... There's always been 'something' about Matty, and it comes from deep down. He's lost, and he's learning his lessons.Matty baby!!
- All that being said, - I don't know either one of them personally, hehe - so I best put up a disclaimer: It's ALL in fun! (mostly, unless you re-watch Ponderosa).
