You're right about the loft! I suspect it is the same set first used as Victor's apartment when he first split with Nikki (then lived with Ashley and how many other wives) and was then turned into the loft. Yep! I can accept that Neil, Michael and Lauren's, and Kevin's condos are in a luxury high-rise with a multitude of amenities and extravagances and with awe-inspiring views that we are not privvy to. Although it would be more reasonable if it was in a big city. Kevin purchased his condo after he started making the big bucks as the IT person at Jabot. He said recently that he's almost gone through his savings, because of the lack of business at CL. Wonder if he'll go into forclosure on the condo, bringing the real-life plight of many American's to the streets of GC, although I'm sure Glo would not let that happen. Always wondered why when a couple breaks up they don't find another place to hang out, instead of where their ex works. Can't remember which couple it was, but it kept happening at CL. And with Cane hanging out at Neil's club - and Neil not 86-ing him for what everyone thinks he did to his daughter. I wonder, too, how GC seems to rank right up there with NY and LA in regards to big, important cities. I know it's not too far north of Chicago, but come on!

Don't worry about poor Michael. His office is probably being stored in few boxes and will reappear as soon as he has a story-worthy client who needs to visit him there. A big CONGRATS to the Y&R set designers. They create the most wonderful and varied spaces in all of daytime! The viewer who noticed the loft/RS transition has a good eye. Has anyone else been in the real Genoa City just south of Madison WI? Their downtown is about 4 blocks long. No high rise towers and no cool coffee shops. Why on earth has someone not opened a real Crimson Lights there?

That wasn't the orginal store that was a boutique on the first floor of Jabot that Gloria worked in. The orginal store was a large department store and there was supposed to be a whole chain of them across country.

I just moved to Lake Geneva but previously LIVED in Genoa City . Noone seems to know anything about the soap at all ! It is really weird . You would think someone would capitalize on it or at least the city would put it on their sign or something and it is tiny !

There are a few taverns , churches , a little grocery store and a head shop .
