oh my gosh, its so weird, i was thinking about this last night. mmkay, so heres my suggestion.Kevin Bacon. Seriously. Maybe not as a SK, but just to guest star on the show, i think he would be amazing! i love him so much and admire him greatly, he truely is an amazing actor and i just would really love to see him guest star. I mean, it cant be too hard right? unless of course he never auditions, but i mean theyve already had stars like Jason Alexander, Frankie Munitz, next week is Faith Ford, etc, etc... Give this show a few more years and theyll be just as star struck as Will & Grace was...

Kevin Bacon... isn't he married to Kyra Sedgewick from The Closer? Now that's a good show, and one of the very few crime shows that come on during the summer.

Very impressive, especially considering how short Hollywood relatioships usually are. She is a good actress, too, but obviously she wouldn't guest star since she is already on a crime show. I haven't seen a lot of Bacon or Spacey, so I'll hold my judgement on that. Welcome to the boards, ninthatpine. Robin would be interesting, I'll give you that much.

Re: Kevin Spacey - he's right up there with Mandy and guys like Keith Carradine when it comes to acting chops so what I was saying was he'd make Tom Gibson, Joe and the rest of the cast look like newbies.However, he shouldn't be ruled out. Perhaps a guest S/K in the final season in a two-parter (like Keith Carradine's piece) as a harder than hades (to capture) S/K who terrorizes the entire cast.Watch his stuff in The Usual Suspects . He takes a clunker of a character to heights you could not have expected!!!!

I don't see it that way, patokin. The CM cast isn't very well-known, but they are extremely talented. Besides, a lot of it has to do with how the characters are written. There is a lot of behind-the-scenes stuff that goes into that. If they were to put him in a finale, I think it would have to do less with making the cast look like "newbies" and more to do with him being a big star. Please understand, that I'm not discrediting Spacey, I just think the cast is a little better than what they are given credit for at times. Has Spacey ever done TV, or is he mainly a movie star? There are actors that are great in movies, but not on TV, and vise versa.

Denzel is a good actor, he could fit in well as a detective.

I think that nelly or maybe johnny depp would be good on the show.

Nelly has been on CSI: NY a few times.

Edward Norton would make an awesome unsub. Or cooperating agent. He can (and has) played both sides of the fence.
