Wow, great episode!Loved the going over the plan, over and over. Trying to turn a goatf*ck into something workable. Loved how totally competant the guys are looking, as they execute their plan. What was that with Carlito? It's just a shoulder wound, I'm good. Mack with long hair again and sunglasses! Ahhhhhh...Kim played it very believable. I was so proud of her. Loved her line to The Colonel. Maybe we won't mention this to Bob. lolJonas...I would follow that man into hell. Truly. What a great actor and role model.By the way, regaring Dennis and being a role model. Go onto Google News and query Dennis. Lots of articles about him right now. One in particular in the LA Times.

ShiningHorse wrote: [size=18][color=bla - k]Hey HuggSnok, squash that Redcap crap! You just wanna see those headlights of hers. Did you see that shirt she was wearing as Ryan was trying to sneek her offbase? Too low cut for base wear. She's dresses like a tramp, just like the writers want her to be. Showing more skin does not equal sexy! You learned all that stuff about guns and you don't have some sort of fetish?
Dear ShiningHorse. First of all, my reasons for wanting to see Red Cap has absolutely zero to do with showing skin. As I stated before, I think she would make a credible character with the unit. I like her character cause I think she has guts, and I explained these reasons to you in a previous post, which you apparently choose to completely ignore. You might hate her guts, but do not take that angst out on me. We had a disagreement as to wether or not it was wrong of her to show skin. I didn't think it was, and I explained my reasons to you without giving you any verbal abuse. I paid no attention to her shirt to be honest, but apparently you did. Might be you should stop looking at peoples shirts and focus on the show a bit more hm? As for the fetish part, I am not even going to bother answering it, since it's apparent you interpret things a bit whatever way you feel like at the moment, so no point in going there. And don't worry, this will be the last reply I ever bother to give you.Best regards.Huggsnok

I think that the Col. is starting to make up for his past mistakes. Getting Cap out of the country was a pretty stand up thing. But it was interesting that their was no interaction between Alpha Team and the Col. I was happy to see that they found a Bravo Team member alive. BUT I don't think Michael McKean's character is going to be walking that much longer. Unless they use him to get the CIA off of the Units back.Oh I have one question for the members of this forum, When is the crap about Cap going to stop? I mean unless the writers make her out to be a CIA plant, or something dangerous to the Unit leave her alone. She did something that could destroy her without a second thought. I cant wait to read the crap I am going to take for this question.

I was a little confused in that Bravo teams helo went down in Season 2. Wondered if they were talking about that time. Why is poor Bravo team constantly being wiped out? I think they should have made it another team, though it gave them a chance to use Beau Dawber (Kill Zone) again. YOu know how Mamet loves to keep using the same actors in his productions.Glad Kim managed to not lose her cool to get herself out of trouble with Isaac. Though when Ryan says "Bob would be proud" my thought was Bob would kick Ryan's butt if he knew that Ryan sent her back in there. Having 2 guys down the street was not sufficient. She should have been wired at the very least. I think I would have told the exec "no deal" on the mission. And when it turned out all his information was wrong and it was heroin instead of Anthrax, I think I would have given the SOB an overdose of it. Did love the "change of plans with a new mission" at the end - can't help but wonder if they are BSing the guy or going to let him get his punishment in a real mission. Can't say I liked how they would do a simulated mission run-through and show the guys getting shot/killed. Especially the one with Mack shot in the truck. Felt like they were jerking our emotions around. But I did enjoy seeing the planning though I'm not sure how they "foresaw the conclusions" of the different scenarios. Hope Bridget enjoys hiding out overseas for a while. She deserves a vacation after 18 months undercover and working so hard running the TOC and everything. And no Tiffy- YEAH! But let's get Kim's kids back.Someone else mentioned they didn't show a preview. Did anyone get one?

Not sure what red cap is for in the Unit as of this moment now. She's being sent away. I have a feeling her role might be slipping away due to the early complaints wrote by some of the viewers??The Unit still need a perm. replacement for Hector. I mean an action Operative not control room one. Writers have to give us some honest answer this season!

What about Beau? With Bravo team wiped out would they move him to Alpha team?

Beau, Sounds good to me. Unless they have another replacement in mind. I really don't have any idea of who will be replacing Hector. Unless Col. Ryan wants in. I know it's not possible...but I really want him to be in action. I really thought he would be holding a rifle when I heard about him being in a military show.

Bring Beau into the unit now and then to replace Hector. That would give them the one man more they need and not bust the network budget. I was so hoping to hear Kim say "NOW can I have my kids back, Col?" Loved Mack's bad a$$ shades. And unless they plan to DO something with injuring Grey again, WTH was that about? This was a totally awesome episode. Full of good action scenes, rescuing Beau, berating the ignorant loudmouth who insisted the mission be done his way, Kim doing what she does best-figuring out how to make a bad siutation work for her.

Anyone catch who co-wrote the story for this episode? Pete Blaber. Anyone know who that is? Well he's a real hero, not one on TV. If anyone wants to read about him and his teams real world exploits, check out the book "Not a Good day to die" by Sean Naylor. This episode makes you wonder.....Whether there was a real life wanker of an under secretary who did something like this to Pete and his team? I hope to hell not.

ShiningHorse wrote: What's a "BRASS CATCHER"? ShiningHorse
if you rewatch the show you will see on the side of the weapons you will see a curled peice that stops the ejected brass(empty casings) so that none are let behind... if you notice at the helo.. they saw brass casings that led them to believe that after the crash there was a fight.. but i guess you need to keep your eyes open always.. as i missed the catchers the first time through myself

DarkGunman wrote: Also, I want more Redcap. I've heard others say there arent women in Delta. Unless you are in Delta, who knows. I love what they do with her and I'm glad she put it on the line for the team.
trust me as of '86 when i got out i met no women that were in delta although not in myself but in direct support of those who were... and it is actually a shame as other than upper body strength women have better hand to eye than men and there for would make better shooters than men but than again who really wants to send a woman in where she maybe captured and raped and im sure that poss. is there for men but i doubt it. as those from the middle east have no respect for women but i don't think from those that i've met that they would likly sexully abuse a male.. but women have no such resect as they treat their own wrong why would they treat ours right

Huggsnok wrote: Most rounds fired from a weapon are leathal, even the so called non leathal ones. Hit at a bad place and you die no matter how non leathal the round is. This even goes for some of the training ammo used. yes if i shot you in the eye with a .22 you'd be dead other than that i know people that have been shot several times with a .22 and still kicked ass on the person who was stupid enough to pull the triggerHere you quoted Darkgunman on how he shot a deer with 10mm glasersand if you knew any thing about black talons, golden sabers, etc then you would understand how such rounds work (then again you said you wern't an expert) Hm, again im not expert, but the rounds used by the military would be 5.56 rounds rather than 10mm would they not? then again you don't know what your talking about as the M16 uses 7.62 nato rounds larger than 5.56 nato but then again you said your not an expert I think the round you used (talking about darkgunman's deer hunting) was specifically meant for hunting. (I doubt you were out shooting deer just for the fun of shooting something No he was trying to put one in the freezer.. we feed ourselfs that way... and YES we want a quick and fast kill so we use what gets the job done a 10mm for hunting .. mmm yes but not deer since is larger than what our government gives our regular army right now(the 7.62 nato)(I say that as there are forces using bigger and better)and if you try coming in my house you won't have to worry about nothing as what i use will stop you on the spot and any evidence will be fed to the dogs and and remeber tree don't talk and the ears of corn can't hearSO before you take what knowledge you think you know rethink... there are people who take their firearms very i mean very serious
