When the article about Sabrina came out in Restless Style Nick was furious, now I say lets show how smart Nick is (the apple doesn't fall far from the tree). Nick should sell Restless Style to Jack before any lawsuits come (from Adrian and Victor)Jack is willing to buyout Nick and Phyllis at this point because of his arrogance so I feel that he (Nick) should show just how savy a businessman he is and give it all to Jack. It will show his Father that he had nothing to do with the article and he (Nick) was as disgusted with it as he (Victor) was, also he will get out while the magazine is on top and he would get more profit for his share. If he waits he will lose money and Victor will prance around saying "I told you that was a bad idea" "You should have listened to me". Writers take note: Let Nick be a man and make some intelligent decisions, let him prove he is capable of making money and let him move forward in his life. For God's sake Nick is a Newman! Let him act like one!!!! He helped run his Fathers company and he made good decisions then, show some growth for his character.....I am tired of seeing the Newman children fail without their father, let them show some maturity for a change,,,,,

[b]I dont think Nick needs to sell Restless Style to Old Jack. He needs to boot Jacks butt out and send Phyllis with him. Nick seems like a fairly nice guy and I feel like this magazine will prosper with him at the wheel.

I understand what you are saying but after Victor gets through with the magazine and calling in the mortgage on the building Restless Style will go belly-up. I think now is the time in the storyline to cut-bait and run where Jack and Nick are concerned. Jack will always want to be number 1 and he is on a high now because of 4 printing of the magazine. I think Nick can save face and start a new venture and make it successful without Jack. Also, I think Jack may try something else when all the do-do hits the fan (like maybe print all the ambulance photo's of Sabrina). Jack needs to be on top and he will do whatever it takes to get there.

Nick isn't the brightest light bulb, he should be selling, instead of digging his heels in.at the magazine

ITA with ebutkovic. I think Nick would be smart to leave Jack holdin the bag, after all Jack is the one that filled the bag with horse manure.

I love Nick and I would love to see him come out on top of this scandal and leave Jack and Sharon taping the pages of the magazine back together. Maybe he and Victoria could start their own company and call it Newman Originals. They might even give Daddy Vic a job answering phones when Adam takes his company away. Nick is the best of both parents- he is caring and smart!

Nicholas Newman a smart guy? Um, gee, golly, wow...nope I don't see Nick as smart at all. Nick doesn't think with his brain; he thinks with a body part down below. He's got a surfer dude quality about him. I used to like him a lot; until the Sharon vs. Phyllis fiasco started.
