That was brilliant! A great sport he certainly is and all for a great cause. I wonder if Ellen still babysits Bridget from time to time.

It was to help support a breast cancer charity (I think). Anthony is such a good sport! There is a clip of the dunking on The Ellen Show website. I'll try to put the link here, but this board doesn't seem to like links as I recall...

  • Thanks for the heads up! How adorable! Anthony is such a good sport, and it was for a good cause too. Thanks for the link.

In my shallow opinion, he looked hot in last night's episode.

I agree, especially when he told Sam about not accepting the job. The look he gave her made my toes curl.

Hey all, another Anthony LaPaglia fan here! I have to say I love this guy for the way he is so complete, he´s a great actor, he can do such different roles, to me it started when I saw his performance in "Frasier", I´ve seen him in mostly films and it kinda stayed there in the back of my mind. Then started seeing "Without a Trace" and it was a bit like "Oh, I remember this guy, he did this film and that film", and he has a HUGE presence on the show (no, I´m not calling him fat lol), I love the emocionality of Jack Malone, impulsive, doens´t like to wait, some humor here and there, great. Then saw an episode of "Frasier" on the Simon role and it kinda stunned me (since many think he´s american, I thougth that too, so I was surprised to see him portrait such good a cockney, then when I discovered he was australian and did alot of accents, I go "oooooooh"). I think that´s when it hit me, such versatility, so I started searching a bit more about the actor. Then seeing the passion for football!! I love it too! (Soccer in USA), and like someone said, not on the couch, but actually playing and helping others by doing so, brilliant. Then the way he seems so "fresh" during the interviews, sneakers, jeans, relax looking, so open, so funny, the accents he can make (i´m like that too, I have a whole range of accents, so it´s funny to see him doing them too! ).Plus, is a good looking guy, but not the usual hollywood "pretty boy", which makes him stand out by the way he uses his facial expressions, in my opinion. He´s like James Gandolfini or William Petersen, they are good looking, but only at the eyes of the people that love their style, which makes them not be too cocky about themselves, which is another thing I love about Anthony, he seems to be very down to earth, gentle and kind, with enough ego to not let others step on him, but doens´t step on others or is arrogant, of course, this is what seems on the interviews.Plus, he has alot of comic timing, I love to laugh and make others laugh, and seeing him being a goofy, lovely. What can I say more, I relate to him alot when I see the passion for the sport and the accents, then see the loving father and husband he is, the versatility and talent, and I´m a fan, not only of the actor, but the person too, I which one day I can shake his hand and say it to his face, but that´s just a dream, hopefully, just for now.(I would also love to play some soccer and score a nice goal on his box, hihi. xD).Sorry for any english mistakes, I´m from a non-english country... Oh, and sorry for babling so much, but this guy makes me talk alot, and I´m quite a shy person lol.Dunno why I didn´t joined this forum sooner, hehe.Cheers.

Your English is just fine. You have found all the things we love aboutr Anthony! His humor, his love for his family, his love of soccer and the way he uses it to help charities. And, his acting is the best. He can play any kind of part. Have you seen all his movies? And, Frasier was so different form his other roles.Ane, he is good looking and very sexy. Glad to hear from you.

No, I haven´t seen all his movies (I´ll get there some day ), and don´t remember the names of the ones I saw already. :/ Also, I probably saw some movies with him but don´t even remember his role, like I said, it stayed on the back of my mind and then when I saw him on WAT or other roles it popped up "oh, I remember this guy".I´ve been seeing the list of his films on imbd, to see if any passes here on national television or cable, which is hard, they pass the same movies over and over again... (I´m curious to see his performance when he was way younger). But I´ll probably get them on the video store or buy them. And yeah, seeing him portray a cockney was really fun, I love english accents, they are so funny to make.

He certainly is and so much better now his hair has grown out a little . His acting skills are fantastic and he's so versatile having played so many different characters throughout his career.
