Why is this here again? It started in Sept. and was lost. It's nice to see some of you again but, really. Why are we and you bothering. They've found better things to do and we've found other things to talk about. So instead of arguing and getting worked up, why don't we all go back to them? Hey, the groundhog around here saw his shadow-more winter-UGH! So how do you UK viewers feel about the snow? Saw it on tv.

It's obvious that the simplest things like courtesy shown to people you disagree with is an unknown factor here. I can't speak for others on the board, but even if YOU disagree with someone, even if YOU realize they don't care for certain aspects of the show, YOU aren't showing the simplest courtesies one even extends to those with divergent viewpoints. It's as if a competing forensics expert were to disagree with Horatio about certain of his techniques and Horatio pulls out a gun and blasts his head off. YOU don't want to hear the slightest thing that could even improve upon what is a good show now. There's a difference between thinking someone is putting Horatio down and thinking they're giving what might be valid criticism. You give the appearance of thinking that ANYTHING anyone has to say about this show or cast that reflects against them in the least bit negatively isn't open to discussion. That may have been valid when Vixen was alive and well, but grown-ups are supposed to be able to discuss criticisms without shouting down what they view as the opposition. All of which gives the impression that YOU, at least, have your views set in concrete and are unwilling even to engage in civil dialogue as I've described it previously, if it gives the slightest hint of casting a negative light on something you cherish as it now is.If YOU are unwilling to engage in a civil discussion and to allow this board to be an open forum to ALL points of view, rather than just your own, than you only give the impression of being wrapped up in what you think is important above all else.If you are representative of someone who "love[s] everyone of you", it's unfortunate that that simple courtesy shown to people you love and cherish can't be extended to people who disagree with you.And you wonder why people like me, attempting a civil discussion, are perplexed with comments like "bad smelling thread" and your last reply? YOU, at least, give the appearance of treating newcomers and dissenters as dirt. Even if someone doesn't care for Horatio, or some other parts of the show, they're fellow human beings.I can understand people here being upset if a person comes in and attacks other posters who have friends on this board. That's against terms of use. But being upset to the point of shutting down any discussion with criticism about a fictional character, or the person portraying that character, is simply childish.I reserve the right to post to this board, since your point of view isn't the one that determines what posts appear and what posts don't. Hopefully, your point of view, one that rejects even a civil discussion I started up, isn't representative of the majority of "regulars" on this board. Most adults, at least, welcome civil discussion, even those that criticize their points of view or things they're interested in.By your actions, you've shown yourself to be just as vindictive against diverse points of view as this board so correctly accused Vixen of being against David Caruso. Sadly, if you look into the mirror, you'll probably be looking at Vixen. Only the person being attacked isn't Caruso. It's human beings attempting to engage you in conversation on this board. You have my sympathies.

Perhaps because it's a public forum and people wish to discuss the good and bad points about this show.As the groundhog so often does, it seems people on this board wish to scurry back into their holes at the first sign of constructive criticism. At least two people so far.

Who are you talking to in that huge post no one will bother finishing? I think Pickle meant back from Sept. but I may be wrong. Most would start a new thread instead of fishing for old ones. Tibbs, are you here? I thought I smeeled something. Why are you attacking these two posters? They are 2 who seemed the calmest and least rude and excitable. If you just want an arguement, that's one reason, but I saw nothing they said to encite your hostiliy. Instead of being so angry, and I am not saying this for all the reasons you wrote or want to believe, but why post on about shows your don't like instead of shows you DO like. Why not work with positives instead of negatives? Be happy instead of mad. Oh, and the snow looks beautiful in England. Not sure I ever saw it there before.

I didn't create a new thread for my long post because boards usually try and reduce the clutter as much as possible. And I was hoping to get a point of view across without omitting anything that could be useful to help others understand the issue being discussed. To your point about positives, do you honestly feel a show can be discussed by talking ONLY about its good points? I mentioned the clothing of the L.A. coroner versus that of the forensics teams in all the CSIs. I was essentially extending an olive branch yet, based on all I've seen, it was taken as a negative comment and gnored. I can't for the life of me understand why the red lights go on for so many on this board if anything giving the slightest appearence of criticism against the show is raised. This is the only board I've been on where I've seen this.I understand the show's, and Caruso's, popularity, but does constructive criticism threaten the show, its viewers, or anyone on this board? Writers have bull sessions all the time where they talk good points and bad. It doesn't mean they're trashing the show. It helps them to see how they can improve on a good product.Simply put, ignore civil criticism that I've raised and go on with the positive talk. Leave people like me to raise valid issues with others and any threads with such constructive criticism can be ignored by those on the board who wish to avoid it.

We have had snow before, just not as bad as this for at least 13 years. It is so depressing. I do not like being cold. I am looking forward to the temperature getting back above freezing. Gosh it will feel tropical compared to this.

I didn't know you live in England Jacqui! Snow is beautiful, until the next day after the cars and all get it dirty. Enjoy it for the day! You got a bunch, huh? And as for cleaning up the board, I don't think they clean anything here. How many pages are there? Too many! I didn't read back to the coroner's outfits. What up with them? I watched old original CSI yesterdy and saw they were wearing blue outfit (top and bottom). Saw them on NCIS and I think Alexx wears (wore :cry them too. What's up with them, sorry, forgot your name and can't see it right now, carana or close?

Then it can be funny watching people trying to stay upright, I hurt my ass so many times-good job it is cushioned. I like to be warm & snug, or cooking up a storm on the BBQ in summer. The coroners in this country just wear suits, with shirt & tie. Magistrates ear normal clothes too. The only exception to the rule are crown court judges & barristers who wear red robes & stiff wigs, they look so ridicolous. Oh well, chat to you later.

Caruso is a putz, always has been, paid 25000 dollars to vote himself into an Emmy award (the only award of this caliber he has ever received in his 37 year career), holds a gun like a moron. If this guy truly shot his gun in that position, he would cave his face in! LOL! His one liners, sunglasses trick, gripping his belt like hes some kind of god, monotone voice crack me up! As an executive producer its easy to see how he himself created this character. He apparently shrugs off any professional critique from anyone who knows anything. I cant believe how naive some people can be to think this boob is a real actor. Top rated actor? He wouldnt make a good sized pimple on Petersons ass! This show is no more than a satire on the other CSIs. It should be listed as a comedy.

jayneeyre wrote: I have followed this program from its first episode, and have been gradually loosing interest in it as the plots became lamer and lamer, the logic and techniques used became more and more unbelievable, and the characters became less and less interesting. Tonight's season premiere, however, is the final nail in the coffin for my viewership. The plot was phenomenally stupid, predictable, and, to be honest, boring beyond belief. It's too bad, because CSI: Miami USED to be a good program. However, I have always found it to be quite disconcerting the people that they have purported to be examples of beauty, when they have never even been remotely close to attractive, but the plot was usually good enough to distract me from that irritant. That's no longer the case, and ow that it's the Horatio Hour, it's not worth my time. I am disappointed. You Wanna Know Something I Don't Like CSI:Miami Trash Talk I'm Still a Huge Fan OF The Show & Collect The DVD Seasons I Have 5 Of Them I Plan ON Buying Season 6 & This Show IS Still Entertaining Too Me So I Will Always Watch It & Plus This Career Path I Have Choosen Too Become a Real Life CSI:Crime Scene Investigator I AM Going Too Get My Bachelor's Degree IN Criminal Justice I'm Going Work Very Hard Too Earn It.

Poor Tibbs just can't let it go. At least JustHappyMe was trying to be nice and rewelcome the other person, carnaco, and at leasthe/she didn't have to respond with rantings. Perhaps carnaco others got off on the wrong foot with you, I don't know, because I don't know your original posts, sorry. Hopefully it will go better as we talk (I know for a fact we don't always agree with episodes or characters either, none of us). It seems the other person, I'll refer to him as PoorTibbs, because I feel he is in so many ways only wants to stamp his foot and say "He stinks. He's lousy. Blah blah blah..." He pretty much no longer exists to us. I hope you and the rest of us can start new. Better. See you tonight maybe, after the show?

Ya know I think one of the previous posters was right. Only a teenager or old lonely woman could like the guy. The younger generations grew up on "Nightmare on Elm Street" and "Friday the Thirteenth", etc and have never had the privledge nor took the time to watch a classic movie or TV series with REAL actors in them. I almost feel sorry for you. I'm ashamed of your taste in men too! This guy ISNT a good looker at all. Think about it, you would call a guy on the street his age a dirty old man. I gotta say just about ANYONE who could remember some one liners could fill his role without changing the show 1 iota! Carrot Top would easily fit the part. On a scale of 1 to ten, ten being a Morgan Freeman or Al Pacino and 1 being Jerry Seinfeld, Caruso would be looking at the bottom of Seinfelds shoes. PICKLED, why are YOU here again? Aint that the pot calling the kettle black? I guess posters with negative statements are only allowed one post while the rest of you babble on time and time again about the same thing.
