"Deserves to win" keeps coming up. Who "deserves" to win?The answer: nobody deserves it. Nobody has any right to the win more than anybody else; if you don't get it, you didn't earn it. It's that simple. Why did Ace get voted out? He revealed his social skills, smooth talking, and physicality too early. He made himself a target; Sugar could see she was being used, and Ken read Ace's next move. Ace pushed too hard with his character acting and it cost him.Why did Marcus get voted out? His alliance couldn't come to an agreement on Susie vs. Dan. They were pretending that it would be the Kota 6 all the way, but they made it apparent that Susie wasn't welcome. He and his alliance created a situation where Susie felt she had no shot at reaching the end, and that made her jump ship. The Onion alliance's poor play turned Susie into a swing vote, and this cost them. Why did Charlie get voted out? Part of it can (again) be blamed on the Onion alienating Susie. Part of it was becoming Ken's target, and not realizing that Ken had the most social power in the game.People get voted out because they don't solidify social positions properly or they fail to win immunity at crucial moments. Matty is still in because, in a bad social situation, he won immunity for himself. If Marcus had held the poles, not alienated Susie, or not targeted Ken during episode 8, he'd be in right now. He could have played well, but he made several mistakes that cost him. That's how the game works.Nobody deserves anything; if you slip up at the wrong moment, you're out and that's all there is to it.
