Xzonia- You super Rock!! i am very impressed with your braininess *bows down* I knew the acid thing would work, i'm just not smart enough to figure it out, so thanks for that!! About numbers fitting anything in life if you look hard enough, i agree, it can be done to scary conclusions. I think it falls in line with the idea that, i forget who said it and i'm paraphrasing, a person can make the logic fit the conclusion instead of the conclusion fitting the logic. In other words, logic can be forced to make ANYthing sound rational. I think that's why i find this show so appealing, these killers have rationalized brutatlity, somewhere along the line, they lost the ability that most humans have to know the difference of right and wrong through their gut/emotional base. It's the primal bases that makes us kill and also the one that makes us know it's bad... not the logic. Example: Logically/rational: Stealing is wrong, there is no other conclusion. Gut based: Stealing to save yourself from starving is acceptable. Stealing a car to get to work on time is wrong. Stealing a car to get to the hospital before a loved one dies... acceptable/unacceptable? This one is a little more vague. My gut says it's acceptable, how about yours? Which i guess, is why we have juries...

Thanks Humroot! I'm glad I could help! Beautiful pic, btw. I know I've heard a quote like that before myself, but the only one that comes to mind at the moment is Albert Einstein's "If the facts don't fit the theory, change the facts." It's a little different from what you're saying though, I think.I've watched too many action movies at this point to think it's wrong to steal a car to save a life - lol. I know in law school they teach the different types of logic / rational that people use because knowing the different kinds of arguments that can be made makes debating in court easier, and this type is "the ends justify the means" logic. The reverse would be if there was no other way to save the person's life than by stealing a car, it's justified to let the person die because stealing is wrong. That would be "the means justify the end". It's a literal end in this case, but there are less extreme examples that make more sense. There are other kinds of arguments, but I didn't go to law school, and I don't know them all. lol Yeah, CM is great at presenting viewpoints that just wouldn't have occurred to me. Like in this episode, that unsub thought he must be evil or a killer because his brother was (in the genes), so he became one. Twisted! This show just floors me!

Wow that hurt my head a little. Thank you for it though. I like TV to be fun and make you think some but not that much. Its good to know the wrighter did the homework about the number adding up to something. I know details in the back round they work really hard to make perfect.
