Depends on the heel... the long, full-calf boot can have it's advantages, including protection from vegetation and insects. Maybe even snake bites.

Yeah, but regardless of the heel, difficult to swim in....

You all are like putty in my hands! MWahahahah!!! Well, except CptMac, he's more like putty under my fingernails, and Fornaxus is more a cute putty-smudge on my statuesque left cheekbone that shimmers subtlely when the light hits it just so, wait, what was I talking about again?

I figure that your picture on the internt has no impact whatsoever. I think they send out real people to see real people to recruit. Meanwhile you are plastered all over the internet. Frankly, that it not where I recommend anyone be.

I guess if I looked like you I would not want my pic out there either.

Not going to start flinging a sword around and beheading people claiming to be immortals, now, are we?

.

Naw. Beheadings are gruesome and get way too much press hype. Plus, that now makes TWOpieces that have to be cleaned from the scene before the police arrive, and a WHOLE lot of blood. Thrust up under the ribcage, transfixing the heart. Just as quick and humane as decapitation, but a much easier cleanup. And it works because Immortals aren't real.

Hi all!

I have been busy with youth baseball and football and just got back here as the next Survivor is getting ready to come one. Hope everyone is well.

;">The thread title is a point to ponder.........does a real pic hurt or help.......I changed my avatar to include some people I met at an open casting call......I am on the right of the picture, the guy in the middle is Jim (he has previously posted as amarok1 on the message boards) Jim has an interesting job....He rescues people who jump off of the ferrys in Puget Sound......He says that a common response is this when he asks why they jumped......They say, "I wanted to end it all." Then Jim asks why they were yelling help....They generally reply, "The water is cold." I've been able to talk with Jim at about 3 casting calls......He missed on last January in Twin Falls, Idaho because he was called at the last minute for a rescue....We had planned to meet again in Twin Falls......The guy on the left side of the picture, I forget.....I do recall that he crossed his arms a lot and sort of looked down on everybody......Takes all kinds I guess........cd1

Jim must be very bored at his job. I live right on the water of puget sound. I can't remember the last time the ferry had a jumper. Seattle does have troubles with cannibals. Perhaps Jim rescues tourists as a sideline? ( Note to self- under no circumstances let dawg near me with a camera. )

As I recall, back in January when Jim couldn't make the Idaho casting call, a car ferry.....after all had departed still had an automobile on board but with no driver....further inspection found woman's purse by a railing.....purse related back to the car....but still nobody to drive the car off......I was at a casting call in Auburn, Washington 2 days later and some of the people there were talking about the incident.......cd1
