I’m Home Pt. 25Cane and Lily laugh hysterically and Neil asks “what’s so funny?” “I told Cane that you were going to think that I was pregnant” “well are you” “no dad, we’ve been engaged for six months now and we just don’t want to wait any longer.” Neil congratulates Cane with a hand shake and man hug then hugs and kiss Lily on her forehead. Lily says “while we’re here, Karen, I’d like to ask you if you would do me a favor and help me with some of the plans?” Karen hugs Lily and says “oh honey I would be honored to help you” Cane hugs Karen and thanks her. Neil smiles at Lily pleased that she has included Karen in her big day. Karen excited says “we have a lot to do, have you made any plans yet?” Lily response “Jill, Cane’s mom is making all of the arrangements all I have to do is find my wedding gown and dresses for the brides’ maids and a few other little things.” “I would be happy to go with you to look for dresses, so let me know when you want to shop.” Lily says “I was hoping you would say that, I’m going to LA tomorrow for a photo shoot at Forester and I’m going to ask if they could design my dress, but if they can’t I was hoping that you could come up with a backup plan.” Karen says “you know I use to live in New York, and I made some pretty good friends in the design world so if you have a problem I’m sure I can come up with something.” Lily thanks Karen and they leave. Neil hugs Karen and says “my baby is getting married, I couldn’t ask for a better husband for her.” In the car Lily starts making phone calls and asking everyone if they could meet her at Indigo in an hour. Lily turns to Cane and says “I’m going to have to make this quick because I still have to pack for my trip tomorrow.” Lily and Cane enter Indigo and find Tyra behind the bar. “Tyra, can I talk to you for a minuet?” “Sure” “Cane and I are getting married November twenty ninth, and I was hoping that you and Ana would agree to be brides’ maid.” “Oh Lily I’m so happy for you, of course we would love to be in your wedding”. Tyra and Lily hug and Cane smiles at how happy they both seem. Lily turns and looks around the bar to find Davon and Roxanne sitting at a table having drinks. As she heads over to their table Colleen and Adrian enter so Lily waves them over to Devon’s table, as Lily tells the foursome her plans she then ask if they would do her the honor of being a part of her wedding and they all agreed. Lily and Colleen go to the bar to get drink and Lily says “Coll, you’ve been my best friend forever and I love you for that. You’ve been my counselor, my shrink, my confidant, and my protector.” Lily and Colleen laugh as Lily continues. “And had it not been for you pushing me, I would not be marrying my prince, the love of my life, the man of my dreams, the man that means everything to me.” With tears of mascara streaming down Colleens cheeks, Lily is all choked up as she continues. “I love you like a sister, one that will always play an important role in my life, and I would be so honored if you would stand next to me while I pledge my undying love to one of the most important men in my life.” Colleen and Lily are now sobbing as they hug Colleen says “you are my sister, and it would be my honor to stand next to you on that special day.” They continue to hug and cry when Cane approaches and ask “are you two ok” Colleen and Lily separate and dry their tears and say “we’re fine” Cane says “yes you are” then gives Lily a long passionate kiss, so long that they forgot where they were until everyone started clapping and whistling. They separate laugh and take a bow and then they mingled with their friends. Cane whispered in Lily’s ear sweetheart we have to go, you need to pack for your trip to LA. Lily caught up in the excitement forgot that she had a photo shoot at Forester in the morning. She says her goodbyes and thanks everyone for agreeing to be in her wedding on such short notice then they leave for home so that she could pack for her trip. As Cane and Lily enter the house Lily goes to the bedroom to select the clothing for her trip and Cane gets her luggage from the storage closet. While Lily packs her bags Cane is in the bathroom running her a bath in their large Jacuzzi tub. He lights a few candles, turns on some soft music and places a basket of bath essentials next to the tub, then heads to the bedroom to help Lily pack. “Sweetheart you’ve had a very busy day today, so why don’t you go and relax in the tub and I’ll finish this up”. Lily kisses Cane on the lips, thanks him and goes to the bathroom. As she enters the room she sees candles burning, the tube filled with lots of bubbles and rose petals she instantly felt relaxed as she listen to the soft music playing. With a smile sweeping across her face she gets undressed and climbs into the tub, takes her neck roll pillow from the basket and places it behind her neck as she relaxes and listens to the music. Cane finishes the packing and takes the suitcases to the front door. He gets undressed and takes a quick shower so that Lily could have some time to herself. Cane looks at the clock, its been forty minuets since he finished the packing so he goes to check on Lily and finds her fast asleep in the tube. He kisses her softly on the lips and she slowly opens her eyes to find Cane standing there with an out stretched towel. Lily smiles and stands as Cane wraps her in the huge towel and carries her to the bedroom.To be continuedJudy

I’m Home Pt.26 It’s November 4th and Lily is in LA for her photo shoot. Since doing shoots for the Foresters Lily, Steffy and Marcus have become really close.The Foresters just finished their spring collection and asked if Lily would be willing to stay for two more days for the showing and she agreed. The photo shoot has ended and the Foresters have a limo waiting to take her to the hotel. As she is leaving the building she runs into Steffy, “hi Lily I’m sorry I missed the shoot, are you headed back to Genoa City or are you staying for the showing?” “Felicia just asked if I would stay, so I’m going to get some dinner and then to my hotel”. “Why don’t you come with Marcus and myself, we’re going out to dinner and then we’re going clubbing.” “That sounds like fun, I’ll go to my hotel, get changed and I’ll wait for your call”.“We’ll just pick you up around seven, so be ready to have some fun.” OK, I’ll see you at seven” they hug and go their separate ways. Lily exits the building and into the waiting limo.In Genoa cityCane invited the guys over for a poker game. JT, Paul and Devon are there waiting on Adrian to arrive. The phone rings and Cane answer “hello sweetheart, how did the shoot go?” Lily answers his question, and tells him that she’s staying for two more days and that she’s going out to dinner and dancing with Steffy and Marcus. “Sweetheart you be careful and I’ll pick you up at the airport at 10:15pm Monday, I love you, bye”. As Cane hangs up the phone the doorbell rings, “Adrian, it’s about time you made it, you were holding up the game”.It’s 6:45pm and Lily is doing the finishing touches to her hair and makeup. She puts her hair in a loose bun with ringlet outlining her face and then she puts on her red loose fitting mock halter dress. There’s a knock at the door as she is putting on her four inch cuffed ankle pumps. Lily grabs her purse and heads out for a night on the town with Steffy and Marcus. They decide to have sushi for dinner at Nishimura. Steffy ask “so how’s that hunk of a man of yours Lily?” Lily smiles and says “He’s wonderful; I miss him so much when we’re not together. I didn’t tell you that we are getting married this month.” “Lily, I can’t believe you didn’t tell me that you’re getting married, and you didn’t even send me an invitation.” “ Steffy, Cane just asked me to merry him on October 28th and we’re just planning the wedding now”. “Wow! Why are you getting married so quickly, are you pregnant?” Lily laughs and says “no I’m not pregnant; you’re the second person that asked me that. Cane and I just don’t want to wait any longer so we decided to do it now, and I’m not sending you and invitation because I want you to be in my wedding.” “Oh really Lily, I would love to be in your wedding, thank you for asking me.” Steffy gets up and hugs Lily, she jumps up and down, claps her hands and says “YA, Lily is getting married, I’m so excited for you” and Lily laughs at Steffy excitement. Marcus pays the check and the three of them leave for Les Deux.The music is loud at Les Deux, but there are not too many people in the club. They take a seat at the bar and order apple martinis and Steffy ask “so when is your wedding date?” “November 29th” have you picked out your bride maids dresses yet?” “no I haven’t” “oh good, my dad and I designed some dresses I want you to see them you might like some of them” “I would love to, I was going to ask your dad if he would design something for me, but since you already have something that would be great” They finish their drink and head to another club, LAX. They arrive at the club and there is a long line waiting to get in. Steffy and Marcus walk to the head of the line and Lily follows. The bouncer removes the chain and lets the three of them in. The club is crowded and they head to the bar for drinks. Steffy and Marcus hit the dance floor to get their grove on while Lily stands at the bar. Someone taps Lily on the shoulder, she turns to face them “Billy how are you?” she hugs him and says “I thought you were in Hong Kong” “I was, grandma called, she wanted to talk to me in person so I’m on my way to Genoa City, but I thought I would stop here first for a little night life, what are you doing here?” “I had a photo shoot at Forrester today and a fashion show on Monday so I’m hanging out with Steffy and Marcus”. “Maybe we can fly back together, what time are you leaving Monday?” “My flight leave at 7 Monday night” “what a coincidence, my flight is 7pm also, come on” Billy grabs Lily’s hand and takes her to the dance floor. fighting for what's?on the way home only thing that cane could think about is what lily had said to him earlier about taking the nexts step with this new man in her life.he He was on his ways homeand listing to the radio were there was this man had called in to talk about this problems to the love dr. the man said that he and his lady love had just broken up just a little over a month ago do to hurtful thing the really don't want to go in to details about what when down he said that it wasn't by choice but it had to be done. the love doctor ask him if was ready to move on from her. The man asked How do you move on when you when youare so much inlove with that person? cane was listing and could understand how the man felt because he to was so much inlove with lily and he could relate to what he was saying.The love doctor ask him did you fight for her? then he said yes more then you will ever know but it felt like I was beating a dead horse that why I had to stop because I kept on hurting and the look on her face made me feel like my heart was being ripped out and that why I stop fighting for her. cane stop the car just so he could finish listing to the man on the show.cane thought to himself that he was reliving his nightmare all over angain. that when doctor ask what would you have done to change the outcome of your problem? he said hold on to her alittle harder and never let her go or let her walk away or give up so easyly on their relatetionship.The love doctor said that first of all you should never had stop fighting her because she didn't give up on you at the begnning of your relatetionship did she? the man said no that when the love doctor ask is she worth everything to he said yes. and you see yourself in fifty years from now without her he said no cane said the same thing no.the love doctor asked another question that was when you are sleeping can you feel her and her touches they both said yes and when you are near that person you just can't breathe and your heart skip a beat they both said yes.cane couldn't believe that this dotor and man was hitting on everything that he was feeling for lily . Look that when the love dotor said could you do me a favor he was what is it I want you to close your eyes and just say the name of your person and if your heart and soul dosen't get warm inside that when your are ready to move on. but if you say the person name and your heart and soul gets warm inside and your mind starts to think about how thing where and could be then my friend get need to fight like hell to get her back. that's when cane's minds started to go back to where lily said that would change thing with this new man and that' when he got pissed off about the whole thing starting was spark inside of him.
