This is a thread for posting random/funny things you've heard here and there. It can be from people you know or part of a conversation you overheard somewhere. You can even quote yourself if you said something thatothersfound funny. You can post the person's name if you want (avoid last names though; you can use initials or nicknames if you'd rather).

I'll start off with a few to give you an idea:

'Holy Sparkly Gideon Batman!' - thn. I've heard a lot of hysterical things on these boards, but that one has stuck with me xD

Yeah, we have some really quotable people on here. There are quite a few on another messageboard I'm on; this one from Saturdaymade me laugh so hard:

"Psh to all you busy people. I managed to murder people whilst writing a thesis." (RJ)

That was already funny in context (talking about anonline murder mystery game), but out of context... hilarious.

One from school last year:

"G, can I borrow your blue rubber?"

"Which one?"

"The green one."

For two of my friends on the art table xD It was so funny, because both of them acted like it was totally normal, it was just everybody else who found it absolutely hysterical.

My best friend a few weeks ago:

"Tomorrow I will have my superpowers back. I will be able to bounce off of every wall within a 50-mile radius at the same time."

My husband said these while we were watching the movie "Taken" starring Liam Neeson...

My friend Kristina while skiing at the top of a slope. "Where's the porta-potty?" We always ask each this because for some reason when we were as far away from the toilets as possible, one of us would have to pee.

Due to a misunderstanding on holiday, this is now me and my best friends catchphrase (well, one).

"I was giving you the finger, not respect!"

while I was a gas station clerk this is one a not so bright customer asked me. keep in mind I am a girl...

"Dude, do y'all sell gas?" I wanted to duck under the counter then pop back up and say, Nope were making a movie and those (pointing to gas pups) are props!

Got one more... and yes sad to say this came from my own mouth. Friend of mine was driving a moving van and when she got out I said... You moving? with out missing a beat she said nope that's my everyday car.

My friend comes up to a bunch of us at soccer practice and said "oh my god the funnest thing happened when we were coing here. we were driving near 7-eleven and this guys pulled up to us and was like did you know you had a cat on your roof? and we were like what? and he was like there is a cat on the roof of your car! so we stp and look on the top of the car and our cat was on the top of the car roof!"

oh my gosh!

It was really funny how she was telling it! and the cat managed to hang on!

Lol tay, that's hysterical!
