Warwick was a cool character, and it's my guess they'll bring him back. And he'll always be there in other epsiodes, or the CSI games, which i enjoyed a lot, even if they didn't have the reality of the show ... one thing i did see recently was a game that was actually a film as well, very like CSI, about a kidnapping, and it was called Casebook The Game ... it was kind of like being PART of CSI.

I'll be happy if Petersen just makes "guest" appearances, or if it shows him and Sara off somewhere together. I am going to miss him, and don't see how the show will survive with this many "regulars" leaving. Fishburn never was one of my favs any way. BUT that is just me.

Wasn't Warrick Brown shot in the neck and not the head. I thought he survived, especially as we never got to see the autopsy and Grissom being first on the scene surely had some trick up his sleeve to stall the bleeding and being agile in thought and a wiz with crosswords he surely noted Warricks warnings about who really shot him - don't ya think?I think Warrick Brown should be tucked away healing in a safe place, just incase there is a few more good-BAD guys out there.

That is my hope also. They showed a picture only at the funeral. A series as great as CSI, losing all too many main characters, something has to happen to revive it, especially with William Petersen leaving. I just love that man in that part. Warrick brought so much good to his part, not that Nick doesn't, and as I have mentioned before, Catherine is not a great fav, I love Lindsey (Montana). I hope it makes it a tenth season, but I have my doubts even though others say contracts for some go through for a 10th. Gil was the cement that held every thing together, so handsome, so good at what he did. I even hated to see Sam Braun killed off. Not many left when you look at all the absentees. But I keep watching. Next week is going to be a tear jerker for me seeing Gil leave for good.

It's always sad when a character left a tv show . I remember that when I watch the episode where Sara left the show, I was really shocked! I couldn't believe what was happened! but al least, we know that Grissom will apear from time to time, rigth? But It's not the same!

As usual, here in the UK, we are miles behind the US and only started our new season of CSI yesterday. And what a start. Grissom leaving and Warrick dead. Come on CBS what are you doing to us???? My main reason for watching, apart from the good scripts, was getting my weekly fix of Gary Dourdon and those superb eyes.... Since reading his web site I now know why he was kicked off the show. I just hope your moral code regarding drug taking filters through to the kids out there. Gary - you silly so and so, and that is as mild as I can put it. I just hope you can grovel enough to be 'resurrected' in some way. I will miss you honey.Shirleigh

I've just brought myself to watch the episode for a second time although it did nothing as every second was as moving as when I first watched it on the premier night but after you get past that you realise what excelant acting went into that episode as well as all the others. Honestly who could portray themselves as upset and deeply moved as William Peterson at the end and at the start be as desperated like it was a friend really dying. In my opinion that is where the show is declining as they are bringin in so many new characters the bonds aren't forming and the closeness isn't there.Laurence Fishbourne will never be as good, personally I don't think any actor in any role could do a job like William Peterson.

I am writing to express that I am very dissapointed, horrified and shocked that CSI have killed off Warrick Brown's character. All the CSI team are excellent but Warrick was the loveable rogue. He was clearly the best CSI after Grissom and Catherine.I watched the episode when Warrick was shot (best ever) and was left waiting for months for the new season, only to find out that Warrick is dead (i cried throughout episode).I cannot believe he has been killed off. They could not even put Warrick in a coma so there is a possibility of his return. Can his son not replace him? I know this is a rant, but I am a true CSI fan and would like to state that killing off Warrick was soooo not cool. All I can ask is that this message is forwarded to someone involved with CSI.I am glad i am not the only one that feels like this. beg him to come back pleeeseanak

I just saw the 1st episode of season 9 last night as it's later in the UK unfortunately. I can't believe Warrick died!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I still love csi but it's not going to be the same without him, or when Grissom leaves either! They are getting rid of the 2 best characters! I love Warrick.. Gary Dourdan he was my favourite character. The episode was great though, he went very well! & good on the rest of the team for solving it for him. Nobody could ever replace Warrick or Grissom. RIP Warrick Brown <3

I have watched that episode over and over again and still cry. .I am still not convinced that hes dead..Im sorry but too many things left unsaid and undone for me to believe it..now watching the previews of William leaving is making me sad..no one can ever take his place..from his one liners to his quirky smile

Warrick was my favoite character so the show isn't the same for me. Seeing him in occasional repeats is fun, though.
