I'm sorry but this storyline that Chloe is pregnant with Cane's baby is ridiculous and has been done already. Remember when Phyllis first came on the show? She fixed the DNA test to say Danny was the father. Apparently anyone can break into a DNA lab and actually know how to change the test to support their story. I know soaps like to fast forward and age people but this is a bit ridiculous. Chloe and Cane got drunk less than a month ago and she already supposedly had a sonogram? What a joke. Cane isn't the baby's father. The writers need to give their audience a little credit for being smarter than they are. From you keeping Nick and Phyllis and Jack and Sharon together, I've just about had it with the show. You've changed the characters so much in the past year or so, I can't take it. Sharon would never have supported Jack on what he did with the article on Sabrina. She's always thought of Victor as her father and she wouldn't support Jack on that level knowing how much it hurt Victor. She should have left him. Now you show Chloe finding out she's pregnant and then tricking Cane into thinking he slept with her and then have the DNA test coming back in less than a day saying he could be the father. Chloe needs to go. The writers need to watch some past episodes to get a true sense of what these characters are like before they completely ruin the show. I for one, am very close to forgetting it all together.

GREAT POST!I have said since the beginning Chloe is nothing more than the new younger Phyl-lust! She just might be phyl-lust long lost daughter.

This story line may be the usual formula in soap lines, but I must say it still fires me up.

I think you guys are going to be very disappointed.. Chloe did not change the DNA... mark my words..this story rocks in so many ways... the writers have out done themselves with this story,, it is the best.

- Great post, it's not being realistic with Chloho trying to pin the baby on Cane, Cane is not the father of that baby. I couldn't agree more on the writers, monking up the characters, they need to put the characters with the ones that they are better suited with Nick and Sharon, Jack and Phyllis who are two peas in a pod, sneaky and manipulative people.

NO! NO!NO!NO! I registered on CBS specifically to insult this pregnancy of Chloe's pretending that Cane is the dad... Lilly and Cane need more time on the show together,, This is absolutely absurd for a women like Lilly to tell her man to marry another woman,, this is upsetting,,, How DARE you viewers believe that Chloe is a younger Phyllus,,, Phyllus has grace. Lilly should be using the example of her late trifling mother Drew who didnt tell Lilly who her real father was until she was 20... In addition The latest bed scene with Nick and Phyllus was extremely HOT!! I like this couple,,, Jack and Sharon would have never been that HOT... I also LOVE MICHAEL AND LAUREN TOGETHER<, COLLEN SHOULD GET INVOLVED WITH DANIEL...

well I agree about phyllis and nick.. they are smoking hot... but I cant stand cane and lily.. I think they are so wrong.. but I love chloe and cant wait too see what else she has planned

Amen, sister - I am so sick and tired of this lame old storyline. Cane and Lily are the best couple on this show, and they just can't leave it alone. I agree - I'm so tired of the Jack/Sharon/Nick/Phyllis storyline, so, so, so tired of the continual Victor/Nikki crap, and now this with Chloe somehow worming her way into their lives. I'm about ready to chuck it all - I've watched this soap literally all my life - from when I was in elementary school and watching it with my mom to now, a 34-year-old who DVRs it, but I am getting ready to stop. Over the course of me watching it, I've seen the Chlose "get pregnant to trap the man you want" storyline, which usually works out to not be true but then the other relationship is ruined, more times than I can count. I don't know why the story writers can't seem to have an original thought among them.If the baby actually does turn out to be Canes, it is a product of rape, from Chloe sleeping with him when he was passed out drunk. Maybe the writers can get with the times and do something truly original - have her be charged with the crime she committed if the baby is really his (which we know it's not, 'cause of the whole phone call where she told some other dude, "no I don't do booty calls anymore" - revealing that she had slept with someone else). Can we please, please, please have an original story where the scheming does not break up a good couple? It's been done so many times, it's just laziness.

I love it too.. who cares if it has been done before.. all the stories have been done and redone.. after 30 years it isnt too often I see a story that is brand new.. this is exciting and it sure has the people talking.. doesn't it?

I guess, but it sure seems like most people are talking about how horrible it is and how it, among other boring storylines that have been seen a zillion times, are driving them away. I'm just saying - we've all seen this a million times. Imagine the talk that would happen if the writers would would get completely creative and do something that has never been seen. Imagine the notice that would garner. Other soaps have changed over time and incorporated new, exciting story lines. Just look at As the World Turns - while some of their stories are more of the same, they've been really innovative with some of their characters. I find it much more interesting.

This storline with Chloe is so unwatchable. We all know that she was already pregnant so why go through the drama of this paternity drama. I love cane and Lily Cane really loves this girl. Why ruin it so fast. I think the new writers need a break. They are all messed up and confuse, especially with the Sabrina and David writing.

Hear, hear! I can't agree more. They were obvious about how she was already pregnant, trying to get pregnant by sleeping with various random men - all I can think is, because they were so open about what's really going on behind the scenes, maybe they're getting ready to do some really big dramatic end to Chloe, and all will become obvious and Cane and Lily won't be too affected.I do have to say, I like the way they have Cane still insisting that nothing happened - he seems pretty resourceful, and will Mama Jill on his side, hopefully they'll expose her quickly.On a slightly different focus - How crazy did it drive everyone that Lily wussed out and was all like, "Oh, you have to marry Chloe"? I wish they would keep showing the Dru and she'd not fold so easily.

What woman who is supposedly so madly in love would immediately tell the love of her life that he must marry a woman that they both hate for the baby's sake. Wouldn't a loving woman try to take a page out of Jada Pinkett Smith's book who married her man Will Smith and made sure that Will made peace with the woman he had a previous relationship with (which produced Will's first child)? She also made sure that the child is treated as an integral part of their family. A loving woman could have also offered that she and the man she loves might pursue custody of the child since the mom is psycho. There are always some creative alternatives YR writers, but we know fom the coming preview today that Billy is back in town, so we must assume that he is the baby's biological co-creator, cause you can't get a sexual response from an unconscious person (Cain). But everyone forgets that Lily had Chloe sitting right next to her when she was looking up labs online. And did the lab tech not say that the swab was all that was needed from the man. How hard would it be for Chloe to go and get a swab from the baby's actual biological, and convince someone in the lab that once she is married to Cain they will enjoy a big payday. Lily did say that Chloe is very resourceful.
