Although, I agree that the CSI: MI writers need to pay attention to the overwhelming messages from fans that they are frustrated with inconsistencies in the show and that there needs to be a good balance of procedural-driven and character-revelation methodology in episodes and to prevent the inconsistencies in story-arcs or character relationships; I don't agree that they need to keep the Julia character around, or "worst" to perhaps further the H and Julia relationship into a romantic one.
Personally, I think the writers have run her character all over the map and in the ground. First, she was a scam artist, femme fatale, then possibly a murderer, or a murderous aide, or at least indifferent to victims and to murder, often contemptuous towards H, then indulgent and careless with Kyle, then mentally ill to the bizarre and extreme, and now to the deranged; that after 2 seasons of the "she-devil", “hazmat”, to now “wacko Julia”, I'm just plain sick and tired of her. I would love to see H and Kyle move on. Ijust hope the writers can think of a graceful way to write her character out.
Although I love this show for the procedural, the once CSI team camaraderie, the H and Yelina chemistry, and the action (especially the H-Action) for me the show has always been about watching DC and the great H-ERO character he has created. Although, I have liked many cop and/or action shows, I fell in love with the H cop and character not only for his coolness and calm in the face of danger, but because DC portrays him so humanly with some weaknesses but also with such caring towards victims and a strong sense for justice. Although, it might be complimentary for the H character to show concern towards his son’s biological mom and especially since she has such serious mental problems, I think it would be wrong to have him hook up with her in the future. Plus, is seems strange and sort of uncomplimentary that with family being stressed as so important to H... that since Season 5 his other family of Yelina, Ray Jr. and Madison have all been left out somewhat in limbo or just on the outskirts of concern or interaction.
Although, I think it would be great to go back and address H's past in NY, I don't want that to be tied to Julia. That would just be a repeat of the Ron revenge thing, and I want to get beyond that... with Julia gone, Ron dead or on death roll, and a fresh start for H and Kyle in a new and fresh Season 8.

I am here to tell you, any person holding a law enforcement position would be fortunate to even have a job after being married to Julia much less hoping to maintain it and reunite with her. Maybe a great Hollywood/Miami storyline but complete nonsesnse in the real world of law enforcement. "H" would be long gone in the real world and if there is one real cop out there you know I'm correct.

kasiebug01 wrote: FINALLY!!! Someone to agree with me. This has got to get to the writers. Maybe we should send out long and boring e-mails to anyone on the show or the writers about how to change things. Thanks roscoetrek for agreeing. I thought at first that when you said ridiculously that you were gonna disagree. Thank YOU!!! So many smart people are on this site. Dont anyone take that as an insult. If you were me with the people i have surrounding me then you'd understand why this is a blessing. We will only see what the writers make out of Julia and H. ~kasie
Kasie
Don't send an email. They get too many of those. Send a letter. Ask Masala where and to whom to sent it.

Hey Outlaw: H and the "she-devil" Julia were never married. They had a relationship while H was working undercover, but they were never married. It was revealed in RAISING CAINE that she disappeared just a few months after meeting H and she never told him she was ****.

I don't know if they should get together because Julia's to insecure but she also needs Horatio to keep her together for Kyle. But if they do get together it will be a rollercoaster of a ride for everybody. But overall I think that Horatio and Julia should start dating not only for Kyle but for themselves.

I agree they need to do something with her or get her off the show... Cause she's not makingthe show any better and the only reason she should stay on theshow is if she starts datingHoratio which she shoulddo

Yuck! You guys are giving me "she-devil" heartburn! The last thing we need in S8 is H and Kyle moments ruined by "she-devil Julia" butting in. Julia not once checked on Kyle in 11 years. He can do just fine without her. He is turning into a young man and needs H, not her and her "sorry past" baggage. The idea of our H-ERO hooking up with "wacko" Julia just spoilsit. H deserves better!
Hey Mooshie Boo: I'm still here! Hope you had a great Summer. Mine has been busy with little time to board tweak!

OMG!! I am sorry but it needs to be said. Julia is a whack job that needs to go. She is not good for Horatio or Kyle. In fact she has not been much of a mother to Kyle and is a bad influence. I don't understand why the writers are putting them together. Horatio deserves better!

I agree Kylesangel - not only that but she is Kyle's mom. I think she truly loves him. Plus I think she changed her life. She just needs to take her meds.
