I can't say as I find Stella's outfits particularly dodgy anyway guys. She's a beautiful woman, why hide it? It's not like shes turning up for work in a black rubber catwoman outfit... Although now that I think about it... LOL

I don't see anything wrong with Stellas outfits. She can wear whatever she wants to wear. Melina is a beautiful actress who can wear anything and look good in it!

I agree...she does show a lot. BUT, I think she looks great! Just my opinion...does anyone agree?

Although she is a beautiful actress, we have to ask....what would a real detective wear to work? To keep the show realistic, the producers need Stella to dress the way she shoud, not just the way she can.

I love Stella's outfits. They're cute. Like if I could, I'd wear them. When it comes to actually "investigating a crime scence" she wears that blue suit, not her regular clothes. But when she's just like in the lab, or her office, or even out in the field she wears her normal clothes because there's nothing wrong with them. All detectives dress in like suits, or dress pants & basic tops. They aren't actual cops, therefore, they don't wear police uniforms. When you're a woman, & you have a job- heels & casual clothing is what you wear. My dads friends wife was a detective until 2 years ago & she wore heels, basic black pants & just a basic T-shirt to workevery day. Sure there's a dress code. But none of Stellas outfits are against it.

Really this is so wrong. Number one I remeber episodes with alot of people that didnt look that hot in it that got killed so how can you say only the beautiful ones do. And number two what is wrong with the way they dress so what. Tell you what. i have worked in public office buildings and yes we dressed like that. Number three I work around blood, dirt and grease all day and on some of them wear white pants. This is a show for our amusment poeple I think stella is very pretty and dont see anything wrong with what they wear. Plain and simply if you dont like it then dont watch it.

Iagree! Iwas a little upset when Isaw this thread. My first inclination was to say something that would have been mean. And since Iam a huge fan of the show and stella (sooooooooooo beautiful) Iscanned through seasons 3-5. In almost all of them she is either wearing a lab coat, CSIwindbreaker, or a black suit the vast majority of time.

Melina can be covered from head to toe or not and still she would be ABSOLUTELYBEAUTIFUL. Imean really, she is wearing alot of dark colored suits with bright color v-necks. What is wrong with that?

glad you concur. however i think the show has more to worry about; like the obscene amounts of unrealistic technology.

Actually, almost all technology they use on the show is real, or based off real, or newly developed technology. It is not acurate on timing, but as for what the machines do, they are close to being on target.

Love CSI NY the best, but have to agree, Stella's cloths are somewhat inappropriate. The shoes as someone else mentioned are impractical for the job. The puns that someone mentioned are in fact pretty much what does happen in real life. Don't forget these guys are dealing with death and destruction day in day out, the puns are a way of relieving the tension. I know plenty of cops here in OZ and yes the punning is real, it keeps them sane.

Personally melina is a sexy woman,but she is not a sexy woman as lust goes to desire her,I find her attractive,but she is not a sexpot and even though she wears low cut,Her character she plays makes me ignore that part of her.

Stella Bonasera is original and yes her outfits aren't really practical in the field, but who cares? She is kick **** and she rocks!Plus she is sexy and has a great body. Some of her shirts are ridiculous yes, but there is no one like her.
