Nearly anyone *but* Ziva who is SO wrong for him on too many levels to get into - although at times I feel like I could write a dissertation as to what's wrong with the character (Mary Sue) & why she should never be paired with Tony.

Seriously, as far as it being someone on the show, my first choice would have been Paula, but since TPTB killed off that character, I'd say the best person to pair Tony with would be to match him up with someone new. Not a fellow agent - maybe not even someone in law enforcement. It doesn't really matter if it's someone new or someone Tony knew, say, growing up. Their romance is back burner & not always there the way we had Jeanne and they fit together seamlessly.

Well, I guess I meant a lot of people are going to say Ziva, because there are a lot of Tiva fans. Sorry if I implied something else...wasn't trying to start anything. Sorry.

Gibbs is my top choice..Then, in no particular order, Paula (had she lived), McGee, Abby, or Palmer.

Who do I want to see Tony with? If you're asking who I would like to see develop their relationship with Tony further, who I think understands him the most and which character I'd want to seeTony interact with in every episode if it were possible, then the answer is easy. It's Gibbs. Hands down.

Their relationship (whatever you want to label it) is what drew me to the show in the first place. I think that bond they have has been tested over past couple of years especially after Gibbs' Hiatus and Jenny and Tony's undercover operation. I'd love to see these two men build back the relationship they had in seasons 1-3. Where they knew what the other was thinking, held mutual respect for one another's abilities and generally had each other's six. I want to see Tony taking some initiative as senior agent and talking to Gibbs on a mutual ground. I want tosee Gibbsreminded of ( and acknowledging ) why Tony's his second in command. I want to see Tony with Gibbs.

On the show? No one. I really don't get the need for shows like this to suddenly pair the characters up. However, if I were going to pick the person he has the most chemistry with Gibbs would win hands down.

Anyone that isn't working for NCIS. As we've seen in Seasons 6 and 7, when the more 'personal' aspects of their working relationships are involved, things get far too convoluted and complicated. So I think it would be in Tony's best interest, and that of the team,for him to find a romance outside of the workplace.

Love the reasoning & logic,abbykadabby....& yeah, it's that relationship that drew me to the show as well (start of S3). Can't see why they've pushed that relationship - as well as most others - to the side in favor of what they're currently pushing down our throats.
