While they might make a "cute couple" I think I prefer Barney single...

I'd have to agree, although I was routing for Barney to finally tell Robin his true feelings, now that they're together he's just not as good.

That was a great ending with Barney "coming back"!! But it was a little sad how short their relationship was. BTWshould we expect Barney to find the "sitcom"Robin starred in with Alan Thicke next week?! haha AND THE BAG-PIPING WAS HYSTERICAL!!!!!!

i can't compare 'better'.... i feel like the writers (or Ted's narration of the events, as one person pointed out) screwed up both of their natures when writing the later episodes of this relationship. They did ok with the 'best night ever' episode, and even the 'dual citizenship' episode... but these last two, well, they both were completely out of character. They could've been legendary together, and we would've still loved barney just as much. And maybe, they will be --- Ted will realize that he didn't know all of the story or something, because I thought they would be a good couple. And I agree with someone before - while Barney is the ultimate single man, true to life he probably wouldn't remain a bachelor forever. And Robin is perfect for that fact - if they keep them both awesome

I was happy to see them as a couple, and pretty estatic to see him single again. I think I'm 50/50. I can't decide which I like better, although single barney is awesome.

Barney is funnier single, but I liked it best in season 4 when he secretly liked Robin. I think they should secret get back together, because it would mean Barney would have to hit on girls to keep up appearances but also be with Robin.

While i agree Barney is funny when signal, they cant keep going to that well before it runs dry and while tv history does have couples with issues im having a hard time thinking of any couple with as many problems as they have and i was really looking forward to seeing the ups and downs of a couple who are to quote the creator of the show "not wired for happily ever after" and after spending the entire 4th season watching Barney pine over Robin then broke them up after only 7 episodes i felt so cheated and like the entire 4th season was a waste of time and now that the Barney/Robin storyline is over i am getting bored of the show and their lack luster attempts at shaking things up like having Lilly and Marshal trying to have a baby.

Ihonestly would have to say with Robin. I'm a huge shipper of them, but then again, Ilove the things he does and the people he creates whenever he hits on other girls. So, maybe Iam 50/50. Iguess I'll make my mind up in coming episodes.

Barney is legendary what ever the situation! and Robin is 'awww-quiteabit' i thought they made a great couple until they became fat, and almost bold... i think that story could of ended better . I do love Single Barney, he is amazing, especially with the playbook, (which is an epic book!). But i do hope he eventually settles down, with Robin would be good, but i think it's more likely with someone else, i.e. Nora! xxx

barney's better single than with robin!! i find the episodes where barney's with robin a bit boring though it was also interesting. it answers my question on how would barney be like if he's in a relationship; and it was terrible!! he's better off single, banging other girls. haha. good thing everything's back to normal now.
